A very well-made offering from a brewery making noise. The name suggests a beer with more dryness but the tripel-like characters to this work well nonetheless. 11%? Hardly notice it... uh oh.

Bottle. Funky lemon malt and alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet, funky lemon malt and bitter herbal flavor with a moderate alcohol finish. Unsurprisingly on the boozy side but overall very nice.

750 ml bottle From Redstone Liquors in Stoneham, MA. Lightly hazy white gold color. Fizzy carbonation as I was expecting. Aroma of yeast, citrus, grain and light fruit. Taste of yeast, citrus, apple, banana and plenty of malt. The citrus vanishes and transitions to lots of bready malts. Medium body with the ABV being completely hidden. This gets points for using the champagne yeast and being on the experimental side. The price tag was a tad high. However, if you want something unique for special occasions this could be your brew. Try it if you see it in the Greater Boston area.

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Thanks man, I really owe you for locating this one for me. Floral pineapple-vanilla, sweet citrus, and yeasty white grape aroma. Hazy golden yellow with a large thick creamy head. Sweet fruity bready malt, spicy, yeast, citrus flavor. Very unique, and amazingly easy drinking for 11%. Body on the full side of medium, creamy, lively spritzy carbonation. Definitely finishes champaign-like. Crazy combination of lightness and fullness.

Glowing golden body, massive white head, soapy lacing. Fills out a champagne flute perfectly. Great balance between bright stonefruits, biscuity malts, and light yeasty spice. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, effervescent, with a semi-dry finish. An interesting concept that largely delivers!

750ml Bottle. Lot #3. Dancing plum, apple, and light pudding spice aroma. A soft wheat-y creaminess develops quickly and delivers a delicate and soft mix of toothy grain, minerals, pear, and brine. Its flavor profile instantly reminds me of Duvel and De Dolle, reaching those desired lofty heights of dried fig and fresh apple soft yeast quality. The champagne finish probably adds something, but I’m not sure its worth the price here. There’s also a hint of corn somewhere mid-palate that could be a sign of fatigue or adjuncts used to get the gravity produced. The meat of this experience is the quality of the fermentation and ingredients, which finishes with delectable juicy smack. Easily some of the better Belgian-style Ale I’ve had from a new-ish brewer in a long, long time.

This beer pops like it should. And the pour is equally satisfying, very golden delicious looking. Lots of carbonation. The smell is a little faint, with some hints of malty alcohol. The taste is very strong malt but so very light on the tongue. Almost a sipper and easy drinking blend. Very enjoyable. 11% goes down without thought. Everything I’d want to pop at New Years or for any year.
