Thanks Marko for this dig! Became funny to see so many new radlers around, especially when local supermarket brands started to produce something that almost wasn’t available last summer! This was also hazy in body with small head, so didn’t want to expect the worst. Lemony and somewhat grainy and malty aroma. Flavor is sweet, artificial lemony sweetener, chemically, fake bitter, what is even more noted in its finish. Quite offensive, sweet and industrial radler, worst of those Croatian I’ve tasted this summer! Well actually, couldn’t be expected anything more from a cheap supermarket brand.

big brown plastic bottle 2000ml. -from local Tommy supermarket. Another Croatian crappy radler. Cloudy pale yellow coloured, medium sized chemical white head, artificial dusty lemony nose. Very sweet artificial lemony taste. This one can hardly be refreshing.

2l bottle from a Tommy store in Split. dull grayish misty yellow body, looks like a lemonade. Small white head that didn’t last long. Sweet, light nose, only light lemon. Very smooth taste that goes from breadiness to overly sweet lemony drops. Oily. Possibly the sweetest Croatian radler, while remaining the least fruity one. Very light aspartame bitterness. I’d kinda hoped that when the 3 biggest macros had released 3 world class radlers, the smaller breweries would had to up the ante too. Unfortunately, both the Favorit version and this one (a supermarket beer though it is), are sub par. And this one’s released way too late, missing most of the summer. I do hope that the 3 radlers brewed in Daruvar are better.
