33cl bottle. Dark brown pour with a medium height beige head. Metallic aroma, dark fruit, roasted malts, dark cherries and a bit of coffee. Not that bad, but nothing our of the ordinary. Medium to high carbonation and a refreshing feel.

Bottle at home. Aroma of dark malt, hint of roast, hint of coffee, hint of liquorice. Flavour is light sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Body is light, weak, watery. Feels unfinished, unstable. Not impressed.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown to black colour with a medium sized beige to light brown head. Smells roasty, iron, floral, slightly soapy. Tastes liquorice, quite sweet, slightly caramel, slightly roasty, slightly coffee, floral and slightly soapy. I like the roastyness (but it?s kinda weak) and dislike the floral/soapy aspect. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

(Epe Bier Collectief Afschot) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a dimpled mug, ABV 5.4% Deep mahogany brown colour on the body, one full finger of thick, beige head, with quite good retention, leaving light lacing behind. Aroma has milky chocolate, light roasted malts. Taste also of light chocolate, cold cocoa, light roasted malts on the finish. Medium thin body, low carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Good, pleasant to drink.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF Shindig 2014 - London. Pours clear amber with a big, thick tan head. Light tangy berries, mild infection, some earth. Light in body with lively carbonation. Finishes with some leafy bitterness and tart berry fruits. The infection has taken hold. Shame.

33cl bottle shared. Apperance: Dark brown with a off-white head with a decent retention. The head is slightly below 2 fingers sized. Aroma: light roast, grass and a hint of coffee. Taste: watery with a mild bitterness thanks to the roasted malts, some light coffee and a hint of fruit. thin body , slighly overcabonated for it’s body.
