COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed on: October 10, 2011. Packaged on October 25, 2011. Our first ever collaborative beer has all the familiar flavors of the season, but done with Epic style. To a base of strong, roasty, and chocolaty porter, we add 200 pounds of real pumpkin per batch, five spice and whole Madagascar vanilla beans. As you pour this deeply ruby brown beer, you’re greeted by the aroma of fresh cut squash, followed by rich chocolate. The flavor starts sweet with marshmallow, vanilla, and some pumpkin pie, then yields to a coffee roast and dark chocolate dryness. This beer is a great introduction for curious drinkers and a special holiday treat for fans of the style.

Bomber, release #19. Lovely, roasted and chocolate malt aroma with notes of pumpkin, vanilla and pumpkin pie spices. Pours black with a decent light brown head with good retention and lacing. Starts with a velvety smooth rich mouthfeel with rich chocolate and roasted malt flavors and a hint of vanilla. Finishes extremely smooth with the pumpkin and the spices coming through nicely. Excellent pumpkin beer!

A fantastic pumpkin, one of the best we've had. Pours a beautiful deep red with a grey head. Smells of pumpkin and a bit of vanilla and cherry. Lots of vanilla straight off the bat, with some pumpkin coming in at the half, and a bit of hoppiness in the finish. Had on tap at the brewery.

Pretty good. Like a pumpkin pie spiced porter as expected. No booze shows, and tastes pretty good. Not getting a pumpkin meat flavor, but the spice is there in the nose and taste and nice roastiness.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of spice - very suggestive of pie spice. Med body or better. Flavor is spicy, chocolate, vanilla. Maybe getting some coffee. Definitely getting some coffee. It’s pretty dry. The chocolate is turning quite dark and bitter. Arguably one of the better "pie" ales.
