22 oz bomber from EZ. Poured a slightly watery pitch black body underneath a large frothy light beige head. Aroma is loaded with chocolate, milk, cake, ashes. Flavor is the same as the aroma. The body starts off slightly watery for an intial second then fades into a medium/full body with bubbly carbonationand a quick fading aftertaste.Very solid.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(22oz bottle from Total Wine Scottsdale. Release #10, abv 5.4%). Pours a dark cola color with thin khaki head. Aroma is oatmeal, nuts, chocolate. Really nice! Taste is sweet with some nice roastiness to balance the beer out. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Bitter, but smooth finish. A bit dry because of the roast. Another nice beer from Epic!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark mahogany pour with a creamy eggshell head. Nose is weak but shows hints of cocoa, caramel, and toasted oats. Flavor is mild with chocolate, roasted coffee, and burnt caramel finding their way. Thin for the style but enjoyed it and it’s easy drinking.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and my neighbour Steve. Dark chestnut brown, medium tan head. Nice roasty aroma, husky and burnt. Not an overly sweet profile at all (I was surprised to see this categorized as a sweet stout), but nice roasted malt flavours, some bitter chocoalate and coffee. Mildly bitter finish. Marred by a thinnish mouthfeel and lack of complexity, but a solidly made little stout regardless. Not sweet though.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Release #8: 5.7% abv. I believe this is a milk stout.
Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a dark brown with ruby edges and a 1/2 finger beige head.
S: Milk sugar and chocolate followed by mild roasted coffee.
T: Very sweet upfront, but balanced by roasted malts on the finish.
M: Medium bodied, very good carbonation, and a fairly smooth finish.
O: Very good milk stout, and I hope they keep this style for the beer, as the website indicates that the style of stout changes with each release.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Release #8. Pours almost black with a small head. Not a lot of aroma for the style. Mostly roasted coffee and malt. The flavor is similar. Not very sweet or creamy like I want my sweet stouts. Decent but not great.
