Yikes! Expected so much more based on other Epic beers. Aroma of coffee, dark brown color with a short lasting tan head. Watery feel, light bodied beer with a coffee taste and a very light bodied coffee finish.

Poured from a bottle. Very short head. No lacing. Honestly, "watery" is the way I’d describe this beer.

Poured from a bottle. Dark brown color, no real head, highly carbonated. Roasted malt aroma. Light body with a watery carbonated coffee flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On nitro tap at the Denver brewery. Black appearance with a light tan head and sticky lacing. Aroma of chocolate, dark malts, roast, nuts and light coffee. Similar flavor, dark and malty with mild sweetness. Pretty light body for a stout, with soft carbonation and a smooth, creamy finish.

Bottle at Craft Cafe Imazato. Thin, strained, waterer-down cocoa nose. Translucent brown color. Thin chocolate, light cola, mild sweet roast, and fades into a light bitterness in final. Thin, watery body. Mild, somewhat pleasant, unexceptional.

(tap) clear honey amber colour with a small brown head; aroma of stewed fruit, hint of roast; rich but rather simple flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark chocolate, roast, raisin. Medium mouthfeel with roasted malt, chocolate, sweet finish. Good.

Smoke and water. No hints of chocolate or coffee. Disappointing. Not noteworthy enough to say more.

Bomber from Kenny Road Market. Blackish pour with thin light tan head and spotty stick. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate. Tastes are caramel, toffee, cocoa, nutty, floral, roasty. Medium body. Finishes clean and lightly bitter. Nice enough.

Appearance: dark brown with cola-colored edges, short light tan head, no lacing. Aroma: light aroma of cocoa, some vanilla and cream. Taste: bittersweet and milk chocolate, light coffee and rolled oats, hint of sweet cream. Finish: smooth and dry, just a titch watery. Notes: Not a lot of substance to this stout, but it wasn’t terrible either. Probably wouldn’t drink again.
