Had this beer poured from draft at Taphouse Grill in Seattle. Creamy and guiness taste. It is good but nothing unusual about it

Bomber. Nose beautiful cracked and crushed coffee beans with ash and mellow roast, wood. Deep brown pour with a sodypopinski light brown head. Smooth, watery light body is very sweet with some ash and mellow roast, wood more toward the end, but the coffee and potential nuts arenít here as much. Very deep background fruit. I like this, itís really easy-drinking and approachable, but I prefer my stouts bone-dry and a little more complex. Also with perceptible hops.

Stout slightly opaque brown color, suttle tastes of oatmeal but I think the draft here was lacking some carbonation so didnít do this thing justice.

Tap at Library Ale house thanks to dedicatedtofun. Inky pour with no head. Lemon and mint chocolate nose. Some salt and soy. Moderate plastic. Taste is thinner, some semisweet chocolate, lemon. But quite watery.

On nitro 4 oz. sampler at R.D.F. in Gallery Place, Washington, DC. Opaque, near black with a huge khaki head and excellent lacing. Mild aroma of sweet mocha and roasted malt. Taste of espresso, milk chocolate, mocha, roasted malt and nuttiness. Medium/light body and low carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Enjoying batch #21 of Epicís 825 State Stout. 5.7% it has a lovely chocolate aroma & it pours black with a beige head. Some roast coffee notes, hints of smokey bacon & chocolate. Very nice & easy to drink!

Bottle pour. Clear dark-ish brown, off white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is light sweet crystal malts, some roast in there as well. Taste is some astringent roasted malts, some cola like flavors, perhaps a touch of bitterness on the finish, though hard to tell if that is from the roasted malts or hops. Just OK.

9/7/12 notes: bottle. Pours dark brown with a this off white head. Nose of ash, spearmint, roasted barley, dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is refreshingly crisp, light, dry. Flavor is dry and bittersweet throughout, an ashy mixture of charcoal, charred grains, cacao, traces of cola and ginger root. The dry and light finish lifts the smoky notes just enough; this stout is intensely flavorful yet sessionable.
