COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic Dubbel, dark, semi-sweet with hints of chocolate, toffee, dried fruit and spices. This ale is fruit and very floral. Brewed with malted barley, belgian candi sugar, hops, and orange blossoms.

Bottle:   Dirty caramel, muddy, frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Smells like a tart or soured dark pitted fruit, or fruit cake.   Yep, tastes somewhat the same albeit it has signs of dark chocolate and cold coffee.   Somewhat interesting, not as dark pitted fruit like as you would expect for a Dubbel.   This one is more tart, with chocolate and coffee flavors.   Not very chewy, could stand to have more body.   As a Dubbel, a little confusing, but as something a bit different, spot on.   Probably could say that for most of Epic Ales, a little different.   Has a bit of really old stale and tart dark pitted fruit, but not sweet or fig like.   Tiz okay.

Dark brown pour some head. aroma of raisins orange acetate. tastes raisiny, brown sugar, soy sauce, leather, cinnamon spice. Light body for a double and fizzy. Booze is noticeable but blends nicely. A bit more approachable than super sweet doubles, but still not my thing.
