Hazy yellow pour. Gusher. Aroma of tang, acid lemons, kombucha. Taste of planty, briny, savory yeast. Saison flavors oysters lactic. Dry palate. Super sour. Unique! Better than I expected. A savory vegetal brew. I would recommend this to tequila and kombucha lovers. Definitely not for everyone though.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, over ripe fruits, vinegar, lemons, and malt, leading to a tart finish. What’s going on here?

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy yellow with a fizzy dissipating white head. Heavily phenollic and chemical aroma. Medium body, some initial sweet fruitiness and then some rather foul, tart, chemical notes. No real hop character. This sure ain’t pleasant. 200912

Bottle:   Straw in color, small bits of sediment bounce around, moderate to large foamy white head, fairly nice lacing.   Signature yeasty aroma that gives hints of bike tire air.   Slight sticky herbal note.   Agave Nectar?   Rather tart, dry, and even a bit citrusy on the tongue.   Its not a sweet citrus, but a really super dry and tart variety.   Very interesting, despite the bike tire air.   Also a bit woody, very pale but its there.   One of those beers I keep sipping to try and understand better.   Smooth on the tongue, leaves it rather dry tho which is nice.   A very different type of Sour Ale.   I can dig this one.   Lingering lemony zestiness.   Definitely mouth puckering.   Interesting!
