COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by west Coast IPA’s on a trip to San Diego for the World Beer Cup and a part of an IPA showdown with Hallertau Brewery . Only 1000 litres of this insane hop joy have been created. The rumour has started that Epic Armageddon IPA is "the sole reason there is a global hop shortage".

Poured light amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of fresh citrus and bitter hops, a little metallic. Medium, creamy smooth body, flavour is medium sweet, lightly bitter.

Clear golden, big, white, frothy head. Grapefruit and caramel aroma. Flavour has a more piney bitterness than the aroma suggests and also some light caramel. Not bad, but rather straight forward IPA.

Bottle from deeside drinks emporium. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head with fades down. Nice lacing. Aromas of citrus fruits, pear and passion fruit. A powerful hoppy taste with lovely hints of bitter lemon and sweet pear. A great IPA.

BeerViking (2496) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2014
Bottle, pours a hazy amber-gold with a thin white head, a little tropical fruit on the nose plus musty notes - it’s a fortnight over its best-before. Big herbal hoppiness and a pronounced and astringent dry-bitterness. Touches of caramel and pineapple, over a malty backbone. Not (no longer?) as complex as it could be, though.

Clear and golden with a nice head. Hoppy, but also more caramely than it looks. Very good

Every time I drink this I forget how bloody good it is. Straight up hop explosion with hints of apricot, citrus biscuity caramel. Well done to my Kiwi brothers, love it.

Pours a clear gold with two fingers of fluffy white head, excellent retention, and moderate sticky lacing. Nose is pine and citrus hops, slight floral, some crystal malt. Taste is piney and bitter, with only a little balancing sweetness. Mouth feel is smooth and slightly slick, with a dry finish. Not the massive smack in the gob I was expecting from the description in the bottle, but enthusiastic, regardless. The hops integrate nicely in the aroma and flavour, and the malt is just sufficient to support the hops without being excessively sweet. The "beastly" ABV is a cute touch, but it’s completely absent from both the aroma and flavour, and this beer could easily have carried off a higher ABV.
