COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by west Coast IPA’s on a trip to San Diego for the World Beer Cup and a part of an IPA showdown with Hallertau Brewery . Only 1000 litres of this insane hop joy have been created. The rumour has started that Epic Armageddon IPA is "the sole reason there is a global hop shortage".

Clear amber/yellowish color. Medium white head with small bubbles. Aroma of tropical fruits, grass, resin, bread, caramel. Fruity taste, caramel, bread. Finishes a little bit dry and bitter. Good balance between malt and hops. I thought this would be hoppier but since it has been shipped all the way from NZ it’s not very fresh.

[8412-20160530] Tap. Blue cheese and floral grains aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. More light blue cheesy grains flavour. Medium body. Interesting! (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Average off-white head, mostly diminishing. Light clear golden body. Malty aromas of light bread, cookies, grain and cereal. Heavy herb and grass scents. Some doughy and soapy yeast. Quite sweet in the front with some moderate bitterness and light acidity to bring things back. Finish is lightly sweet and heavily bitter. Hint metallic in the finish. 6/10

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2016 Tap@Fox&Anchor Karlskrona. Pours clear amber with tight lazing head. Aroma is dry and dank, earthy with some pine. Taste is light malty, earthy with a hint of caramel and hoppy with pine, resin and has a dry, moderately bitter finish. Not a study in balance.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Pours clear amber with big off-white head. Very nice lookout. Aroma is very fresh, tons of tropical fruits, some sweet floral notes, honey, sour citrus, fresh pine, biscuit. Taste is soft spruce, pineapple, orange peel, sweet resin, creamy, sweet fruits, young pine. After taste is quite bitter, but sweet pine and tropical fruit notes will continue to the end. Excellent beer!

Hoppy, fruity, piney aroma. Golden color, clear, small white head, nice lacing. In taste fruity, a bit harsh, grassy, a bitt winey. Very drinkable, refreshing because of its dryness. Very good beer.

33cl bottle. Clear, golden pour with minimal white head, some lacing. Aromas of citrus, spruce and golden hay. Taste is bitter to the max, dry but balanced. Fresh palate, medium carbonation. Aftertaste is long and bitter with tasty citrus finish. Really good IPA.

Bottle. Pine and floral aroma. Taste is floral with some citrus and caramel. Pretty sweet for a WC IPA. Overall a decent IPA.
