COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by west Coast IPA’s on a trip to San Diego for the World Beer Cup and a part of an IPA showdown with Hallertau Brewery . Only 1000 litres of this insane hop joy have been created. The rumour has started that Epic Armageddon IPA is "the sole reason there is a global hop shortage".

Clear amber/yellowish color. Medium white head with small bubbles. Aroma of tropical fruits, grass, resin, bread, caramel. Fruity taste, caramel, bread. Finishes a little bit dry and bitter. Good balance between malt and hops. I thought this would be hoppier but since it has been shipped all the way from NZ it’s not very fresh.

Aroma: exotic fruits, floral hops, some grass and straw. Appearance: clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters continue, grass, light resin, exotic fruits lingering in he background and getting more intense, dry finish. Overall: excellent IPA, very nice, fruity palate. Poured from bottle, pale amber with medium creamy head. Aroma with tons of fruit, passion, kiwi, citrus and some pine. Taste nicely bitter with a light malt body and a loong bitter finish. Yum!

500ml bottle, pours clear gold with a white head. Kiwi fruit, passion fruit, pine, lovely intense punchy hop aroma over a light caramel base with a resiny texture. Light medium body with soft carbonation. Balanced and lightly bitter to finish. Best IPA so far this year!

I just got stuck with the smell. It was great. Looks, nice golden yellow. The taste was great with a long lasting and deep mouthfeel.

Great IPA, the NZ hops give a green twist to the usual west coast flavours.

Drucken ur pensmugg. Helt ok IPA om än något slätstruken. Fin och klar färg. Något besk.

Aroma is very focused towards the hops here, and it has a floral, almost perfumy smell. The taste is oriented towards carambola (star fruit), and a kind of dry and spruce-ish kinda taste. It also reminds me a bit of gooseberries (the green ones). It has a light body and it’s a bit different than all the other IPA’s out there. I don’t remember it being this light and dry, so it makes me wonder if they tweaked the recipe somehow? Anyways, it’s a good IPA
