COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by west Coast IPA’s on a trip to San Diego for the World Beer Cup and a part of an IPA showdown with Hallertau Brewery . Only 1000 litres of this insane hop joy have been created. The rumour has started that Epic Armageddon IPA is "the sole reason there is a global hop shortage".

New Zealand has nailed the West Coast IPA technique with this ale. Fresh, hoppy, delicious.

Solid, if unexceptional. All the right notes are there. But there’s nothing unique here that you haven’t had in a solid IPA elsewhere.

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Orange amber, reasonable head. Sweet pine hop aroma. Soapy hop flavour, Bitter grapefruit hoppy aftertaste. A really good IPA.

Lovely golden color with a white head. Lots of grapefruit, orange(bitter) and tropical fruits on the nose. The taste is of pine, citrus, malt sweetness and fruit cake. Great beer!

Aroma is pretty typical, I got a blast of hops but nowhere nearly the amount of tropical/citrus the bottle proclaimed. Taste was the same. Good but nothing special and felt it needed more citrus.

Bottle brought back from Australia by my mom. Pours a dark orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma is loads of citrus. Taste is light bitter. Citrus and pine. Light bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, great. Non-dated but I’m assuming not super fresh. Great beer regardless.

Clear orange-to-golden beer with slightly small head but decent lacing. Aroma has tropical fruits, grapes, lemon and some kiwi too. Taste is really fresh, there is tropical fruits, kiwi, lemon and grapefruit and decent bitterness. Body is full and medium-to-high carbonation. Fresh and fruity IPA.

Clear copper beer with a huge white foam. Very nice fruity and fresh aroma, mango. Medium body. A unique and complex flavor of bitterness and sweetness. Dry and sweet at the same time. This is truly a great beer. Pure excellence and a great refreshing change to the genre.

330 ml bottle @ Kultainen Apina, Tampere. Pours an amber colour with a white head. Aroma of tangy grapefruit, green tea and caramel sweetness. Rich flavour of juicy exotic fruitiness, grapefruity bitterness, heavy caramel maltiness and resin. Medium bodied, rich mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Rich and enjoyable.

Bottle at home, bought in Sweden, imported to UK, 3rd April 14. Great perfume aroma, good malts, some bitter hops on the finish, quite American in style, liked it.

Bottle at home, from Systembolaget Nordstan, 01/04/14. Golden amber with a good sized off white head, carbonation evident. Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, light rubber, pine notes, hop presence, floral waftings. Taste is caramel malt forward, honeycomb, sharp grapefruit, pine, candied orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, balanced hop bitterness in the close. Decent malt forward IPA with a good hoppy overlay.
