2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml bottle from super liquor. Pours orange brown kinda like ginger beer with good head that fades a little. Toffee and sweet roasted malt aroma. Sharp taste with cutting aftertaste a little too acidic for my palate. Notes of caramel and chocolate linger. Reminds me of a desert.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA.Pours clear copper with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready/hoppy. Med body. Foamy carb. Flavor is rather grassy hop over a mildly roasted malt. Almost more pale ale than IPA. However the quantity of hop is sufficient to give a mild hop burn. For some reason it makes me think of California Common. Lots of bitter finish along the back sides of the tongue. Description lacks, but the ale does not. Very nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle (exp 12/7/13). A redddish-brown beer with a stable moderate off-white head. Aromas of biscuity and caramel malts, earthy yeasts and floral hops with a touch of citrus fruits. Flavour is malty and hoppy with good balance and texture. Nice floral hop bitterness. Like a good English-style IPA but beware the ABV.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is caramel malts, an undercurrent of hops and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is heavy, almost DIPA syrup-like malts, citrus, very tangy and a grassy bitterness mixed with mild tartness in the finish.
