Pours a deep back with a thick and creamy tan head. Aroma full of coffee, cocoa, and hints of bourbon and vanilla. Taste is sweet up front with the bourbon flavor and warmth coming through on the finish. Flavor is bursting with chocolate with coffee underneath. Itís like drinking a chocolate cake. Superb.

Bomber. Batch #37. First impression is that it smells like bourbon county coffe. Well as much coffee, maybe not as much bourbon. But as close as it gets to a perfect coffee stout. Taste, although still good, is a bit of a letdown. Mild chocolate, sweet bourbon, coffee (which worked much better on the aroma) and bitter vanilla. Average to maybe on the tho side for such a big beer.

Pours a dark black like motor oil, with a moderate brown head. Aroma is strong coffee, with notes of chocolate and bourbon. Taste is bitter strong coffee, slight chocolate, roasted malt. Full body with average carbonation. The coffee dominates the aroma and taste. Bitter for a stout. Still good.

Jet black pour. Small chocolate layer of bubbles. No lacing. Huge aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is huge chocolate and a big malty note. Very thick and viscous. Awesome.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 This beer is an explosion if flavor. It pours thick and looks like motor oil. It could be a sipping beer but I found myself guzzling it because it tastes so darn good. Reminds me of some mighty fine imperial stouts that are aged in Whiskey barrels. Donít need the whiskey barrel. This brew stands in its own. Definitely a powerful brew. Drink a bomber if this and go to bed!

Wow! Black in the glass. Dark cocoa and dried fruit aroma. Smoky dark coffee and mocha flavors with a hint of alcohol. Overall, a solid execution. Great brew!

Strong malty and coffee aroma. Great nutty flavor of dark chocolate and coffee. Nice weight on the palate and extremely smooth. Slight alcohol taste but not overwhelming. - Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
