Brainless Belgian-Style Golden Ale is has a rich and complex malt flavor balanced with a little bit of spicy noble hops and strong influences of fermentation esters from the Belgian yeast used. Various Belgian like Rock Candies, hops and grains are employed to express variations within the style. Deceivingly drinkable, some liken theses ales to the Devil sneaking up on you, so consume responsibly.

Ampolla 65cl. En nas tocs d’aranja i força floral. El gust és molt similar a l’aroma. L’alcohol i es present, es nota. El final és amarg. Quan s’escalfa una mica es més dolça i es va dissipant el sabor de l’alcohol inicial. M’agrada’t.

Release #85, SLC, 8.9% abv. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color, with a white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fruits, and candy. Taste is a bit sweet, with lots of the Belgian complexity, mixed with a nice golden ale. A very nice blend, thumbs up!

Aroma is cheese. Which makes the delicious Belgian strong flavor so surprising. Nice subtle spiciness is offset by a plum sweetness.

Thank you gentlefolk! Sampled 650 ml. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Presumably 2 years old but no dating. A Belgian-style should handle some aging usually right? It was kept in a fridge for nearly the whole duration. Nose is golden, with a crazy amount of floaties, little white bubbles for a head. Watery nose, cold water, iron, spoiled yeast, rotting dough,… Taste is old nasty rotting dough & yeast, ditch water, iron, hay, chemical, spoiled soy cheese,… Thin, watery, rotting, metallic,… Awful really. Totally past it, let us hope that it was the age but a beer really shouldn’t deteriorate that badly that quickly now should it esp. in this style?
