4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap (nitro). One of the better straightforward belgian IPAs Iíve had. The creamy mouthfeel from the nitro made this very enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops and Belgian yeast, very interesting. The taste is sort of a mix of mildly bitter grapefruit, and mildly sweet candied Belgian sugar and yeast. Iím usually not terribly exited about a Belgian ipa but this one really nails the balance. Itís not as good as the best Belgians or the best ipas but itís a really pleasant mixture of the two worlds.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Save On. Bright golden orange with chill haze lasting head and lace. Orange bubble gum aroma with herbal spicy accents. Mild fruity orange mango sweetness with medium assertive citrus herbal very dry hoppy lingering finish. Fine carbo and soft mouthfeel from Belgian yeast. Excellent example of this new hybrid style. Yum.

Points for originality on this one, great taste in an unprecedented combination - come on - IPA and Belgian?!? May not be unique, but certainly rare!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Samís, Durham. Medium copper orange pour, fluffy head and light carbonation. Nose is pungently hoppy but also slightly sweet with malts. The body is playfully carbonated enough, though thereís still a trace of slickness. Modest spice along with honey and toffee malts in the taste, making for a decent enjoyable IPA that feels like it hasnít reached puberty yet.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
3/28/13. Sampled during CBC 2013. Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Digging the aroma on this... fruity hops, grapefruit, orange, plenty of citrus, some other hop aspects, and touches of Belgian yeast. Nice flavor, not as good as the aroma led on. Mild citrus, yeast, and more malt backing. Not bad.

A very tasty, very easy drinking Belgian IPA. Lots of flavor complexities all wrapped up in a nicely balanced body. Everything melds together just right.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Lucky Pie Lodo. Pour is hazy orange with a big white head and great lacing. Grapefruity, earthy, somewhat spicy, light clove, a hint of banana, bready, caramelly, and grassy aroma. Taste is fruity, orange peel, white pepper, bready, grassy, grapefruit, and doughy with a medium bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Chuggable.
