Release #2. Wonderful soapy yeasty aromas: spice, nectar, sandalwood, apple and apricot fruit. A little beery and astringent on the palate, but not enough to dampen one’s enjoyment of the crisp apple, apricot and pear. Nice drying finish, but long. Plenty of character and weight at 6.5%.

Bottle - Cloudy yellow with a soapy head and lacing. Sweet floral hop aroma and a honeysuckle taste. Medium mouthfeel and sweet bitter.

Draft at the Cincy Brew Ha Ha. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange color with an off-white head. Notes of grassy and floral hops, bready malts, mellow spices (white pepper), herbs, earth, and light funk. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. I got this just thinking ’IPA’ and not ’Belgian IPA’ - so the other elements in there were a surprise. But this mostly worked for me.

I’ve had most of the fruit and barrel treatments of this beer, it’s about time I had the base. Bottle. Clear golden color, fluffy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of huge tropical fruitand light herbs. Taste is mildyl bitter perfume and herbs. Tasty all on its own.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with white head. Pine and citrus mostly on the nose with a little grapefruit; follows onto the palate. Finishes with hop resin.

Yeasty and hoppy nose + banana. Cloudy orange color with a big spongy head. Malt quickly gives way to a gritty bitterness. Slight card board on the end. Big beer but I’m not convinced of the balance.

Cloudy orange color. Small foamy head. Nice yeasty banana nose. Yeasty filling hoppy taste. A bit gritty, ebbing down to a bit wet hay finish. Feels a bit unbalanced but it is not bad.

22oz bottle (Woodmans-Waukesha)-Pours a hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, hops, and malt. Taste of the same with more Belgian characters coming in. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty.

Bottle from Savor Market. Amber pour with white head. Aroma of lemon, floral, yeast, spice. Tastes are Belgian yeast / spice, zesty, orange, resin, sweet malt. It’s good - but I’m not that big a fan of these belgian ipas.
