pivo (2558) - GERMANY - AUG 9, 2014
Yeasty and hoppy nose + banana. Cloudy orange color with a big spongy head. Malt quickly gives way to a gritty bitterness. Slight card board on the end. Big beer but Iím not convinced of the balance.

Cloudy orange color. Small foamy head. Nice yeasty banana nose. Yeasty filling hoppy taste. A bit gritty, ebbing down to a bit wet hay finish. Feels a bit unbalanced but it is not bad.

22oz bottle (Woodmans-Waukesha)-Pours a hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, hops, and malt. Taste of the same with more Belgian characters coming in. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty.

Bomber. Pours a thick cloudy orange in color with a nice 2 finger head that lasts. Sheets of lacing cover the glass. Aroma is a nice dank fruity yeasty happening. While the flavor is citrus hops and some light Belgian yeastiness. Medium body with a somewhat dry finish. Very drinkable

Bottle courtesy of Andrew shared with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a hazy murky orange amber with thick off white cream head and lace that lasts throughout. Nose is great - funky grass, moss, earthy hop, lemonade, cinnamon and Brett funk. Surprised that thereís no Brett in here. Mouthfeel is smooth with ligh prickly carbonated finish. Overall, the flavors are more muted and rounded out but very nice overall. By far the best "Belgian" style IPAs.
