Poured from a 22. Looks like a nice refreshing beer. Aroma is tropical and bready. Flavor has a tropical sweetness to it with a bready, vegetable finish. Has some of the normal belgian skunk to it, but not as strong as a full on belgian ale.

Poured a slightly opaque orange with a lacy head. Mild hops in the mouth, likely tamped down by the yeast.

Bottle, release #20. Cloudy deep gold with a high, large-grained, lacy, cream-colored head. Nose is grapefruit, lavender, funk, and bitter orange. Lots of orange up front, followed by a slightly astringent and anaesthetic hops bitterness; carbonation is surprisingly low, and there’s not a lot of phenols involved. Relatively mild on the tongue compared to the nose. Finish is long with a treacly sweetness. Nice.

"Epic further establishes that they are, indeed, Utah’s best brewery. Wonderful balance between dry, zesty, fruity yeast and light citrus and piney hops. No alcohol evident, great flavor but the aroma is especially nice. I could drink this all day."
