2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle. lightly hazed dark honey-colored body with a small, creamy off-white head. mostly typical aroma, american hop pine resin / citrus fruit with a moderate touch of burnt caramel syrup and a hint of some Belgian yeast esters (which with some mint and shallot-like hop scents, seems to come across as a burnt toothpaste and herb smell). very soft velvety texture, nice to experience, but there’s a scorched butter and mint flavor throughout.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, grapefruit, slight grass, pine notes in there go into a hint of biscuit and bread but the hops take it over. Taste is a mix of white fruit, slight orange, grapefruit into some pine, grass, some biscuit, bready notes, finishing fairly bitter. Pretty nice.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Release #9 6.1% ABV Brainless is a balanced but expressive IPA. Yeast character melds with crisp hops that are a touch racy on the finish with lingering citrus peel flavor. Some of the flavors are delicate and balance helps keep these from being drowned out.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hop forward, with less Belgium yeast aroma and taste than expected. Cloudy amber color. Definitely an IPA and not a Belgium!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Denver tap room - cloudy gold with a thick, lasting head - a very nice example of this "style" - creamy body and texture - intense but non-abrasive American hoppiness is complimented well by some citric and lightly funky Belgian yeas notes - tropical finish is semi-dry, despite some higher than expected sweetness through the middle - tasty.

This as a 22 oz bottle. Strykzone had one too, and we drank ii at the same time and discussed on Faxeook Chat. This poured amber-orange with on off-white and really beautiful lacing rings, Nose is citrus hops along with ripe tropical fruit and some spice. Medium plus in body with a very resinous mouthfeel. Sticky in the mouth. The flavor is very tasty, with stone fruit, citrus hops, and a bit spice. The finish is more flavor than bitterness and there is enough of both. This is a very nice and better than average IPA, thought called "Belgian=Style" except for the fruit is right in the realm of West Coast IPA.. Delightful.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. I rolled my bottle and some yeast was loosened. That made for a hazy beer. It is honey gold and has a big off white head that slowly fades leaving sticky lacing. In the aroma I get tropical fruit hop notes. Those are also tasted. Tangerine. There is a good bit of yeast but it doesn’t really taste Belgian. I get a grapefruit tartness that is nice and builds throughout the glass. Malts play second fiddle here. They are pale and add some sweetness but not a lot of flavor. I like this but never did get but a little Belgian yeast and no candi sugar. It is more of a yeasty west coast IPA. I do like that the malts are so far back and not caramel. That lets the hops shine.
