4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampler 4oz draft from Rustico Ballston. Poured a cherry red color with a off-white pink head. Aroma was sour cherries, almost preserve like in character. Flavor was sweet/sour cherries. This one is very tart, and very tasty. Couldn’t imagine myself having more than 10oz so expect to share the bottle.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
release #1 from dave on 12/19/10.
reddish tinted golden yellow. soft white head on top.
similar to the regular brainless...
the aroma shows some mild cherry/vinous notes, mineral, grass and wood on top of pale malt, yeast and spice.
there is a dryness on the palate which didn’t exist in the original which helps the mouth feel and flavor immensely... also, the flavor is pretty much the aroma combined with the notes of smoke and match stick-like sulfur. 7/4/7/3/15

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark golden ruby color with cherry/blood red edges and a half finger fizzy pink head that quickly fades into lasting ring. Not much lacing.
Sweet fruit aroma with earhty oak and vanilla. Lots of sweet cherry which is kind of artificial/syrupy smelling. Some boozy alcohol sweetness but the cherries overpower the nose.
Medium bodied with tight carbonation, earthy oak and vanilla with dark fruits underneath that blend well with the sweet cherry flavor. Slight maracino cherry juice flavor with a boozy punch. Not as sweet or syrupy as the aroma suggests. Pretty well balanced actually and the ABV is nicely masked.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: lots of cherries, also some pear and other fruity esters, fair dose of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy red, very fizzy pink head dissipates instantly and leaves little lacing. Flavor: strong cherries, fruity in general with similar flavors as in the aroma, alcohol is fairly noticeable, low bitterness. Fizzy, effervescent body, high carbonation and medium body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to Douglas. Pours a clear pinkish red with a white head that had a pink hue and dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of cherries with a slight note of earthy of grains and a bit of oak as well. Flavor has much more earthy notes with grain and bread backed by a light cherry note and a good amount of oak. Solid.

Big thanks to Chuck for all 3 of these variations. Very similar to the base beer.. TheCherries add another level not otherwise there. Quite the improvement. Peaches was my favorite variation.
