Note: only batches 1-4 were in the white wine barrels, all others need to be rated under the red wine barrel entry. We took our double gold medal winning Brainless Belgian, added cherry puree and aged it in French Chardonnay casks for a secondary fermentation in the barrels. Pours a beautiful deep ruby color with a medium white head. A nice nose of sweet cherries, Belgian malts, and barrel aging.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity. Smooth fruity. Fruity and sligfht cherry citric. Bitter and dry herbal and fruity. Sweet and slight citric into the finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with black sediment floating around under a tan head. The aroma has notes of cherries, cinnamon, wine, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of cinnamon, cloves, wine, wood, and cherries, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy orange-red coloured with a small white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, cherries, dried fruits and white wine. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and cherries with notes of dried fruits and white wine. Sweet and fruity finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of nimbleprop. Pours a cloudy pale red with a small and very quickly dissipating head. Dry berry aroma, yeasty and lightly tart, lovely woodiness. Medium body, heavy carbonation, a light underlying woodiness with a sulphurous touch. Some warming alcohol. Nice one with a great barrel character. 131112

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy pale reddish color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity weak sour woody cherry aroma. Fruity malty woody winy cherry flavor. Has a fruity slightly sour tart woody cherry finish.

Bottle. Poured clear reddish brown color with moderate frothy white color head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Average sweet cherry and yeast aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium fruity sweet flavor with a average tart sweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting tingly refreshing beer.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering pinkish amber head. Aromas of sour pie cherries, pie crust and light spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of sour pie cherries, pie crust and a hint of spice with a smooth lingering cherry finish.
