3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. A lively red color with hues of orange. Aroma is subtle with cherries. Taste is good and can really taste the oak. I'm not usually a fan of these types of beers, but this one is solid.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear deep reddish amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of cherries that are slightly tart with a backing sweet grain and light funk. Flavor has more of an earthy note with some earthy grains, slightly tart cherry, a bit of alcohol and a hint of backing yeast.

Clear copper red with 1 finger head that disappeared quickly. Light lacing slides rapidly back down into the beer.
Aroma of yeast, cherries, yeast, cranberries, caramel, and oak.
Taste of bready malts, earthy hops, grapes, cherries, spices and oak. Cherry flavor, while obvious, does not dominate.
Medium body with amble carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Batch 7. Brewed August 4, 2011, bottled September 29, 2011.
Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a reddish-pink color with a white head. The aroma has a ton of oak and red wine notes, as well as some cherries and grapes. A very fruit smelling beer.
The flavor is similar. The dominant flavor is the cherries and wood, with some vanilla and grape notes also thrown in. There is also a good bit of bread, Belgian yeast and alcohol in the flavor.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Batch #9 at 10.3%. Pours with a clear decidedly pink/red/orange hued body and a small white head with minimal lace. Aromas are sweet, spicy, peppery, cotton candy, vibrant cherries, oak, peppermint, tannin, earthy, manure, juicy and boozy. Flavors are dry, alcoholic, cherry, tannin, oak, light red wine, thin. Lightly metallic with an odd/strange cherry skin flavor. Lively, dry and boozy (thankfully not as sticky as the Peach version). Medium to light malic tartness, lots of bitterness and tannins.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle release #5. Pours clear ruby red with a soft soapy white head that fades to a tight ring. Aroma is funky cherries and wet wine corks with with Belgian yeast and alcohol. Taste is really the same as above, but adds a slight bitter sourness and tartness with a lively carbonation. Palate is medium and slick with strong carbonation and finishes very dry.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy strawberry juice color. White fizzy head that quickly disappears. Smell has fruit, malts, oak and very clear oaked red wine notes. Taste has a firm wheat backbone, cherry, red wine, belgian yeast, warm vanilla and a little spice. It’s is a very interesting combination of a lot of distinctive flavors. The smell and flavor is fruity, but the over all taste is not too sweet and offers a dry finish with lots of warm vanilla oak. Med-full body. I think this is a good cherry ale. I do not usually like fruity ales, but this has some good things going on.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle…Mostly clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Like the previous versions, the nose provides vanilla, spicy Belgian phenols, caramel and only a hint of cherry. I’m picking up some meaty red wine notes, but it could simply be the power of suggestion. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. The flavor is sweet, fruity, herbal, rooty and mildly acidic. Finishes bittersweet with lingering tannic bitterness
