Peach aroma, with subtle banana-ish phenol. Peachy flavor, with herbal/banana/spicy yeast. Some malt sweetness; not too much. Substantial but smooth bitterness. Fruit flavor is prominent--but leaves room for the other flavors. (release #24)

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours orange blonde with a tiny beige head and a peach aroma. There is a slightly sour and fruity light malt flavor with a dry yeasty finish.

Bottle from France 44. Pours orange with a transient beige head. Aroma is peach, but brought Glass Wax to mind. Med body. Flavor is tart peach with enough sugar to call sweet/tart. Heat hovers. I think more peaches would improve it. Finishes rather dry, and very mildly worth. Missed kick-ass.

22oz bottle. Clearish golden yellow with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma is musty, lactic, fruity and lightly doughy. Flavor is more doughy malt, oak, with some peach and light acidity and tartness. Medium to light body with a soft mouth feel. Pretty good beer, light and tart with a good malt base. Hides the alcohol extremely well.

Release #21, 11.1% ABV. Pours orange-gold with a white head. Aromas of peach fruit leather, toast, and oak. Flavors of juicy peach and white grape, Belgian yeast, fruit candies, and a hint of oak. Pretty noticeably boozy. Finishes dry and a little spicy with minimal hop bitterness. This has a really pleasant fruit character, but I think I would have enjoyed one of the lower ABV releases a little more.

On tap at the Yokohama Brewer’s Cup. It poured a cloudy orange gold with a foamy head. The peach aroma was pronounced but nice. The flavor was boozy & peachy, delicious. Sweet & easy to drink, very nice! Great for the ladies...

22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy peachy golden amber color with a small bubbly white head. The aroma has peaches,wood, white grapes, tart fruits, Belgian yeast; with some acidity. The flavor is tart peaches, acidic, wood, yeast, with the barrel notes and alcohol coming through. Dry on the finish. This did open up more as it warmed.

Release #21, 11.1% ABV. $11.99 at Olive Tree Market in OB. Slightly amber with a two finger white head. Smells like a Fruit Roll-Up, fruity Belgian yeast and some oak. Smells fairly sweet. Flavor has a more discernible peach flavor, some buttery oaky chardonnay coming forth halfway through to the finish, which was semi-dry. Can definitely tell this is strong. Full body with medium high carbonation. This did grow on me throughout the bottle.

Draught at Craft Heads, Tokyo. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of sour peaches. Flavour is even more sour peaches.

March 2012. 22 oz. bottle. This is an interesting beer and a lot going on. The peaches and fruity flavors are hiding the high alcohol content. Good combination with other spices. Very good.
