COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a rich and complex malt flavor balance with a bit of spicy noble hops. The peach is very subtle but noticeable, with a dry finish from the champagne yeast in the 2nd fermentation in the French Chardonnay barrels.

This whole experience hits me more as a sparkling sangria with fresh apricot, peach and plum. The malts come through in the middle as just slightly warmed rye bread but with the juicyness of fruit dominating otherwise. Not overly complex but really tasty and effervescent especially in the finish. Nice beer. Thanks Epic. 2011 22oz.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a nice thick foam head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of peach puree is quite intense and quiet sweet as well. Taste is bizarrely not as intense on peach with a nice mix between some funky notes with a slightly oversweet malt base with subtle peach in the background. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Chardonnay and champagne yeast notes are very hard to distinguish and the beer maybe a tad too sweet but this is an interesting experience after all.

Sample at the Epic tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 8/11/11. Clear gold pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of peaches, Belgian esters and sweet malt. Malty and sticky sweet flavor with banana and peach before a sweet wine finish. Not bad, but a bit too sweet, especially when compared to the cherry.

Bottle from Eric R. Pours yellowish-orange with white head. Aroma of peaches, grapes, bread. Medium bodied. Mild bitterness and medium sweet. Starts a little weak, but finishes quite well. Batch #4. Alcohol is hidden well. Wish I could bet more of this.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2011 bottle. batch 1. pours cloudy orange with massive white head...heavily carbonated...overly so...aroma of a basic wit...mostly banana, clove, and light spice..no peach whatsoever...no oak either. flavor brings out some of the aforementioned peach, but mostly speaks as a wit. nothing special. overly sweet...no chardonnay characteristics whatsoever...

Location/Date:Draft at RFD on August 10th.

Appearance:Pours a clear golden color.<
Aroma: Aroma is mostly light peach.
Taste: Some light peach balanced with some malt, nearly no hops.
Palate:Light body, covers alcohol well.

Summary: This fruit beer is above average, but the amount of alcohol involved paired with the fairly light taste leaves something to be desired.

Bottle. Poured hazy peach color with moderate fizzy white color head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good tart peach and yeasr aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Average sweet flavor with a average tart fruit bite finish of moderate duration. Interesting refreshing beer.
