This beer has a rich and complex malt flavor balance with a bit of spicy noble hops. The peach is very subtle but noticeable, with a dry finish from the champagne yeast in the 2nd fermentation in the French Chardonnay barrels.

Pours a hazy yellow golden color. Nose is funky musky peach, phenolic, yeast esters... buttery vanilla. Palate follows and is very disjointed and not pleasant. Lingering musty flavors of old cork and composted fruit.

On draught at Apex. Clear apricot color. Aroma is spicy yeast and really fresh peaches. Taste is bubblegum, alcohol, yeast, and a strong peach element. Peach finish slightly hides the intense alcohol warming.

On tap at Epic-Denver. Pours clear and golden. Light Lacing. Funky aroma, sweet, peach, and a bit acidic. Very sweet and fruity mouthfeel that ends as bitter, acidic, and vinegar. Leaves a weird, odd, and unfavorable taste in my mouth. I’ll pass.

On tap, poured a golden hue w/ a thin white head. Big boozy peach aroma. Initial flavor medium sweet w/ a medium sour finish. Taste is sour peaches. Big body, slow sipper, dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

27 sept 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is peach skin and mild alcohol. Thin body and fizzy. Has some peach up front but astringent Belgian yeast. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one surprised me. I was hoping for a true sour, and while this is not that, it does have a mild tartness with a slight barnyard funk/horseblanket edge. There’s a decent amount of complexity, (besides the subtle peach) with graham cracker, vanilla, white grape and clove mingling nicely. Some have complain about its heat, but I find it to be very muted, especially for its strength. The finish is rather mild, but lengthy enough, and pleasantly dry. Although this isn’t a brew I’d choose on a blustery winter’s day, I find it to be the perfect accompaniment for the onset of fall.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light peaches, grassy character. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with peach pulp, peach schnapps, loads of alcohol, rather brainless and unbalanced. Was expecting more. On tap at Aces and Ales tenaya.

Draft shared on tap at Aces and Ales 2 (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a nice well hazed golden straw hue, a bit darker and well hazed with a frothy whitish head. Sticks around and laces well. A filmy layer. Aromas are some decent peach presence, touches of yeast, bigger white wine and oak presence. Firmer yeast spice hits, a bit fuzzy. Some life. Initial shows some gentle fruit, bread, touches of fruity ester. Touches of pear, peach, and spice. Some fuzzy qualities, spice. A bit fuzzy. Middle is a touch sweeter, touches of fruit, apple, doughy malt and Belgian yeast. Backend shows some dryness, richer oak, vanilla and white wine. A touch of warmth hits. Gentle yeastiness, spice, and oak. Nice. Finish is a bit yeasty, maybe a touch messy overall. Ok. I actually liked raspberry better.

A great ale. First aromas are massive bubblegum and candy. Maybe a hint of peaches. As it sits you very some really funky and almost rotten peach aromas. Quite awesome in my opinion. Peach is subdued on the palate. Still some fruitiness with some nice Belgian triple characteristics. Dry white wine and Oak on the finish. This is truly ’epic’.

Bottle at BBF2013 shared with a few of the other punters. Another strange one this. Aroma is peach and wine. Murky golden colour. Flavour is fruit and alco, wood and yeast. Sparkly texture.
