3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hopscotch (7535) - Vero Beach, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Bottle… Hazy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The mishmash of disconnected aromatics includes herbs, roots, peaches, coriander, clove and a hint of vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and modest carbonation. The flavor furnishes tangy peaches and spicy Belgian phenols. Moderately sweet and moderately acidic. Good balance. Sweet, tangy, grassy, sassafras finish. Odd. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

Bottle. Spicy and fruity. Peach is evident, subtly always there. The aftertaste is where you really get the peach. This is obviously a labor of love for the brewer with the ingredient and process he choose. The only advice I would offer would be to kick up the sourness if possible.

On tap at Bruery Provisions while people clamored for Black Tuesday. Not über light and the peach is only minimally present. Pours light orange with a standard Belgiany aroma. Nice sipper but I would have liked to see more peach.

Spicy, pleasant aroma. Mild flavor with peachy hints. The high alcohol content isn’t noticeable.

Pours a deep orange amber .. medium head, great lacing .. . quite a defined fresh peach presence, light tartness and more peach juice in the mouth .. . silky finish but short .. . good for what it is .. . . I did a theatrical performance about puns. It was a play on words.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Steve_0 (201) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Bottle. Poured a hazy apricot with little head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is nectarines, oak, light vanilla, yeast, spices, and alcohol. Taste is peaches, vanilla, wood, spices, and a light alcoholic burn on the finish. Sticky mouthfeel with high carbonation and decent lacing. Overall, a pretty interesting brew, but nothing that blew my socks off.

amber with big head. peach is very present but not overdone. can’t say the same for the alcohol. the booziness ruins what might otherwise be a great beer.

Medium bodied and lively in body with alcohol present. . The favor is fruity and sweet, with lots of peach and yeast . There is some floral hops in the finish. Alcohol is felt but not tasted at the end. Very well balanced and nice drinking.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Ughsmash (5832) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - APR 24, 2012
Bomber, Batch 6. Poured just slightly cloudy medium golden with a short, kinda fizzy white head. The aroma picked up sour oak, peach skins, and some peach kernel over a soft bready base.. lemon rind and light-skinned vinous notes came through as well.. remarkable balance overall. The flavor found soft peach meat and pale malts at the carbonation-softened, supple core, with tart-but-never-too-aggressive oak and peach skin notes laced throughout.. light white pepper, cloves, and white vinous notes around.. finished with a fine blend of sourness, spice, and fruit. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. just a great flow through the mouth.. awesome beer all around, and I need more.
