3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap 12 oz. pour into a New Belgium globe glass. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish golden color with a medium sized head that leaves ok lacing. Smells of raspberry, Belgian yeast, peppery, and a funky sour smell. Tastes of the same things in the smell with the peppery raspberry flavor being the forefront then a slightly sour aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with good carbon and a semi dry finish. Petty good fruit/sour beer I like how all the flavors and ingredient played off each other. Very well done.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to glass. Cloudy light orangish-amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a mix of belgian yeast and raspberry fruity sour sweetness. Sweeter in flavor with a mild sour, both lingering in the finish. Very interesting. Almost as if a belgian ale and fruit ale were simply poured into the same bottle.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
651ml. bottle. Batch 5. Pours a very well retained, medium thick, lightly pink head with some lacing, over a slightly red amber (SRM 15) body.....nose is light biscuit, hints of cereal, moderate raspberry, no hops....taste is hints of light malts, raspberry, light sweetness, finishing moderately dry, with light hop bitterness.....mouth feel light of medium, alcohol warmth present, but restrained, carbonation adds a clean acid finish. This is a well done Fruit Beer. The malts and hops are present, the fruit does not dominate over much, the result is pleasant. It is not a complex beer, but makes me look forward to further excursions into this brewery. BJCP 7/3/14/5/7
