Great amber/ orange/ pinkish color, nice head. Belgian yeast, cloves, citrus rind. Tart, unripened raspberries. Not a sweet beer, mild fruitiness. Tart, biscuity, spicy Belgian with a long dry finish. Different.... Raspberries are not overpowering like you might think..

"Took a while to open up and really let the fruit shine. A sweet leaning belgian golden with a pretty hefty body. At first the fruit, especially in the nose, was a bit overshadowed, but it came out and while still mostly sweet, added a slight tartness to the suagry spicy base. Not bad."

Bottle. Pours a deep, rich purple-pink with a lot of visible carbonation; the head is a very faint pink, high and lacy, with a very large grain. Nose is fresh raspberries, lemon, bready/biscuity grain, and a slight minty or herbal note. An intense bouquet and burst of raspberries on the tongue, but without any sweetness; the backbone is pure golden ale, with hoppy bitterness and phenolic tightness. Finish is long and fruity -- but again, no sweetness. A nice balance of fruit and tart and Belgian intensity.

Draft sample at the Annex. Cloudy golden brown color with a thin white head. Aroma is wonderful fresh raspberries. Great flavor again with a mellow, sweet base beer balancing the slightly tart berries. White wine finish. Nice.

Semi clear with particulate golden red color with a white head that recedes quickly. Nose has apples, raspberries, grapes, some honey malt. Medium carbonation, sweet finish with lingering berry flavors. Could use some more tartness and less sweetness, but some very interesting flavors that mix fairly well.
