On tap at bier thirty pours out a rusty pink topped with a light pink head. Aroma of berries, yeast, and some sweetness. Taste more of the berries, belg yeast, little bitter, and dry. Over all so so.

Tap at Jacs. Unfiltered red body. Big white head. Really pleasant natural raspberry aroma. Big raspberry flavors, dominant aspect of the beer. Fruit beer all the way, but has that Tripel Golden ale feel underneath. A monster of a raspberry beer. Not enough malt depth or subtlety to really be ranked in the top tier. Solid beverage.

Pinkish/amber with a white head. Raspberry, light malts, sweet fruits, and crisp. Great palate, raspberry, florals, sticky, and a nice finish.

Taster at brewery. Pours a pale copper color with reddish hints. Little head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, a bit of funk, hints of red fruit. Taste is Belgian yeast, hints of raspberries, slightly tart finishes dry. Slight alcohol burn. Not bad.

Pinky orange with a good pale head. Aroma is raspberry. Medium-light bodied, sweet on the palate with a fruity finish. Taste is raspberry jam, honey, raspberries.

Pours very clear light red/pink with thin white head. Aroma is muted but has some Belgian and fruit notes. Taste is sour, but not in a good way. Definitely can taste the raspberry with a mild Belgian yeast flavor. Not my favorite fruit Belgian ale.

Sampled at ABR 2014. Slightly hazy pinkish red pour. Mild tart raspberry aroma and taste. Solid beer. Didn’t feel like nearly 10% ABV, either.

Beer pour a foggy hint of red. With the taste of raspberry and a strong foggy hop taste! Finished very nice

Red pink pour with a pale pink head. Belgian yeast dominates the aroma with some light funk and raspberries. Taste is yeast, dough, lightly tart raspberry, and raspberry candy. Slightly sweet overall.

"Took a while to open up and really let the fruit shine. A sweet leaning belgian golden with a pretty hefty body. At first the fruit, especially in the nose, was a bit overshadowed, but it came out and while still mostly sweet, added a slight tartness to the suagry spicy base. Not bad."

Bottle. Pours a deep, rich purple-pink with a lot of visible carbonation; the head is a very faint pink, high and lacy, with a very large grain. Nose is fresh raspberries, lemon, bready/biscuity grain, and a slight minty or herbal note. An intense bouquet and burst of raspberries on the tongue, but without any sweetness; the backbone is pure golden ale, with hoppy bitterness and phenolic tightness. Finish is long and fruity -- but again, no sweetness. A nice balance of fruit and tart and Belgian intensity.
