3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A pleasant pink copper body below a trash head. A not to sweet raspberry ale with mild hop notes. Body a little thin and nice tart finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Taster at AEON Liquor. Tart raspberries with a gentle sour edge, floral notes, not too sweet but does have a kind of soda-like carbonation, fairly dry finish. Not the most impressive for the style but decent I guess.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle that my parents picked up on the last weekend visit to Lewiston, neither of them really cared for this, but itís still pretty cool they ventured out of their comfort zone a bit. Pours sort of a dirty ruby color, smaller beige head. Nose is raspberries and sort of musty, along with the Belgian yeast. Similar in the taste, the Belgian yeast and the raspberries come together in a musty, funky, barnyard sort of way. Both yeast and fruit are relatively strong in presence, but Iím not sure it really shines in any way. Decent, but in small doses.

Taste more like a soda than a beer, possibly fruit flavor sodas arenít my thing. One is a treat, donít think Iíd enjoy another.

Aroma: sweet, raspberries.
Appearance: reddish color and nice white head.
Taste: sweetness and raspberries, which combines really well, malty.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation.
Overall: The best fruity beer Iíve ever tried. Drinkable and interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 7/2/15. Release #29. 9.1% ABV.
The aroma is actually more yeast/spice then fruit. A little bit of oak. Some funky notes as well.
It pours a murky orange-reddish color with a beige head and drippy lace.
The raspberry comes through more in the taste, but it is still more of a spice, funk, yeast flavor.
The feel is decent. Soft carbonation. Tart, funky, and slightly dry on the finish.
I actually think this works pretty well. The fruit flavors after more subtle than I would have expected, but it still does the trick. Solid.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nice authentic raspberry aroma. Seems sweet in the aroma. Taste is not that sweet, very medicinal. Makes me think cough syrup. Dry finish, medicinal. Has some nice qualities but not for me. Very different beer, but too medicinal for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Brewers Haven. Raspberries up front, and throughout. At 9.8%, defeats the purpose of a radler. But delicious and refreshing , in spades.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a small bubbly off white head. The aroma has raspberries, wood, tart fruits, Belgian yeast, some sweetness with some acidity. The flavor is tart raspberries, acidic, wood, Belgian yeast, with some alcohol coming through. Dry on the finish. This did open up more as it warmed. OK.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
bottle @ Whiteyís / Lawrenceburg IN --- Cloudy medium amber that glows, bubbly white rim head, stripes of lace. Taste is malt that becomes sour with light, but very tart, raspberries on the swallow, moving from there to an odd slightly bitter, sour malt finish. Not very delectable by any means. I spent my $10 on a bust.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Theydon Bois (cheers Colin) Oxon, Tuesday 28th April 2015 This pours a cloudy reddy colour. This reminds me of drinking some of the New Glarus beers with Casey, maybe not quite in that league but still itís similar in style. Itís very raspberry but itís also not in the least bit sour either, tangy yes, a little tart yes but not sour, in fact itís a bit like a trifle made with lots of berries (but mostly of the raspberry variety) I quite like this for a fruit beer itís pretty good.
