Sampled at Slutfest 3. Light amber pour with ring of white head. Kinda sweet and malty caramel. pale ale qualities also. I don’t know what the brown rice adds. Not bad. not good.

651mL. Clear golden pour with smaller white head. Small chunkies in the glass. Fruity, sweet nose with sweet cherry juice and children's juice box with plastic. Taste is neutral, watery, sharp grainy. Pretty bland overall. Not sure what makes this better than just typical pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

CaptainCougar (6834) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2012
22oz bottle: Pours a clear deep golden brass with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a mild grainy and semi-sweet nose. Starts with average fullness and effervescent carbonation with an earthy grainy maltiness and some grassy hop bitterness before a smooth bittersweet finish. Fairly drinkable, but nothing too exciting.

Bomber from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, opened 4/26/11. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of rice, floral hops and faint nutty notes. The taste is very much similar with a bit of apple and caramel as well. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a white frothy tight head and leaves a creamy collar. Aroma is citrus spice and malt. Taste is more the same with a lingering bitterness and spice. Palate is medium and creamy with a lively carbonation and dry finish. Easy drinker with a spice finish, not bad brew.

22oz bottle. Poured a clear light copper color with a small, thin head. Aroma was grain notes, like brown rice (went well with my brown rice sushi I ate). Flavor was a touch of brown rice, mild, a bit like a lager. Not too bad, but nothing spectacular.
