Made with classic Pacific Northwest Cascade, Centennial, Mt. Hood in the boil and dry hopped with more Cascade hops. Cascade aroma dominates the nose, so be sure to sniff it like a wine snob. Plenty of ultra premium Maris Otter malt and three specialty malts give the beer a nice smooth sailing biscuit like aroma and body, some sweetness, well balanced against 5.8% alcohol by volume.

Bottle. Lightly hazed dull amber with a short off-white head. Buttered red apple amber malt aroma with lifeless, soggy and limp American hop aroma, similar flavor, soft carbonation, soft malt, thin body, medium acid, medium bitterness, touches of clay / silt from the yeast. An aimless beer with noticeable fermentation defects and little vibrancy.

Poured this at a good temperature with a colossal, cream-colored, foamy, frothy, fluffy head that lasts forever and loads of sticky lace. Color is a slightly hazy, medium amber with lots of bubble trails of many sizes. Aroma is fairly simple and fresh - Cascade hops and malt, with a bit of grass. Flavorís like nose and likewise somewhat simple, fresh. Hops are more apparent and longer lasting. Body is great although the carbonation at first is strong. Finish is like flavor, but the hoppiness makes the aftertaste a little medicinal. Except for strength, itís more like an IPA.

Bomber bottle poured a hazyy orange hue w/ a large creamy white slowly diminishing head w/ minimal sticky lacing. Mild aroma of malt and floral hop. Initial flavor is a light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are hay, orange, and dough. Medium bodied, creamy texture, and lively carbonation.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit/kumquat), with a note of citrus pith. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Quite pithy/acrid in the nose and rather sour in the mouth, so a bit hard to enjoy. Pretty much the same quality as their Utah-brewed products, sadly.
