Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

Tap @ the brewery tap room. Pours a clear amber, rusty colored beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma is very well hopped, caramel and citrus going on. Flavour is nicely bitter, bitterness keeps building up to the finish, finishing dry and bitter. Slight touch of caramel in the very finish of this beer. Lovely brew.

On tap at the Denver location. Pour is clear orange with a big cream-colored head and good lacing. Bready, earthy, slightly grassy, caramelly, and husky aroma. Taste is honey, slightly floral, caramel, grapefruity, orange, and doughy with a lightly bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Pours cloudy copper and huge frothy offwhite head. Aroma of pine and earth. Flavor is pine and medium-heavy biscuit malts. Overall, a solid flavorful hoppy beer without the bitterness of an ipa.

Bomber: release#40: smells like pine nuts taste. Mahogany hue with a moderately foamy head. Fair lacing. Dry Fizz quick to a nice bitter and a slick move to a lingering woody finish. A very nice beer. Lovely with salami. ~m --RaucusBacchus

Bomber, release #24 at 6.4% abv. Nose is nice and hoppy, doughy citrus and enveloping caramel, even a little toffee that’s edging toward chocolate chip. Cloudy/hazy copper-brown body with a foamy, rocky beige head. Taste sweet to start with a little tartness before bitter Betty rears her ugly mug, bright but non-distinct citrus and nice, grassy herbality with doughy, lightly spicy hops underneath. A little nuttier/earthier and this qualifies as a straight-up trail mix brown; as it stands, just a pleasant association. Fullish body, even dense at times, with a little alcohol showing, and very lightly soapy. Good balance. On the whole, very nice, and kudos for releasing something slightly new under the sun!
