COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

The aroma starts with a blast of pine and citrus, which switches over to more caramel notes. It pours a clear dark amber, with a towering white head. Slick mouthfeel, with a medium body. The beer has a hint of caramel malts, as the hops then overpower it, leading to a nice blast of hop bitterness. It does seem to lack some of the subtleties of the better IPA’s, but it is a solid entry into the field.

Pours a copper color with a really thick head. Good hoppy aroma to it with a slightly less hoppy flavor to it. Extremly light on the palate.

Big, rootbeer float head. Big piney aroma and taste. Great mouthfeel. Hint of lemon on the back end. This is a great pale ale.

Not a lot of aroma has a sweet Carmel malt and a little hops. Pours a reddish brown, foggy with medium carbonation thick frothy tan head leaves nice lacing. Taste is floral, hoppy malt, sweet alcohol end bitter with some sweet. Overall a descent pale ale. Very good burps.

on draft at backcountry pizza in boulder, this was a very tasty pale ale, plenty of hop aroma and flavor but with a great malt backbone, i could definitely session this beer

2 June 2012, bottle. Murky orange color. Nose is great: strong piney hops! Thin body and a bit fizzy. Oily piney hops with some bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Love the copper color. Nice and cloudy with a rich head. Perfectly unfiltered, you see the grain swimming around after a good pour. Exceptional pale ale! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Nose is sweet with citrus and pine notes. Cloudy orange-brown with a thick white head. Clean and smooth, mild bitterness and lots of sweet fruit notes. Full bodied with a touch of drying bitterness in the finish.

Release 19. Pours a rich hazy copper color. Not much here on the aroma. I was really looking forward to this beer, but in my opinion it lacks body. Hops pack a punch, but not necessarily in a good way. Bitterness packs a real punch at the end.
