3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle from the brewery - had this a couple of times but haven’t gotten around to rating it. Pours a hazy copper color with medium sized light tan head. Aroma is bready and toasty, with light caramel and dry toast, a faint hint of orange peel. Flavor has a firm malty backbone, with medium caramel, toasty notes, and a bit of dry oak. Finish is balanced. This is alright but nothing amazing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat on his 76th birthday. My bottle was a huge gusher but his was not at all. Very opaque amber brown with all that beige foam. The aroma is gentle fruit with earth and malts. All of those are tasted. The fruit is complex and on occasion a little grapefruit pops in for bittering. The fruit is not really citrus and not really tropical. Some toffee and that earth.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty standard amber that doesnt do too much to differentiate itself from other easy drinking ambers. That being said it is not bad.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very malty, starts really well, but the taste falls off dramatically. The low alcohol content makes this feel very light.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint at the Denver Taproom. Orange to amber and lightly hazy in appearance with a lacy, light tan head. Malty aroma with notes of bread, toffee and caramel malt. Similar flavor, pretty clean, smooth, straightforward amber ale with a medium body. Solid.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from the brewery. Pours a solid shade of amber with a tall, rocky, bubbly off white head. The aroma is grassy and citrusy with notes of lozenges. Malts are nice, providing a biscuit and caramel balance. Palate is on the lighter side of the style, but the carbonation is nice and the sweeter flavors give an impression of a fuller mouthfeel. The flavor is well balanced with refreshing bitterness countered by hints at bread, caramel and a distinct nuttiness and toast. It’s not particularly exciting, though the hints at almonds in the finish are a welcome surprise. This is clean and sessionable though.
