2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Late night bottle, served just below room temp. Thanks Dallas! Pour is a crystal clear honey gold, with a spare white head and minimal lacing. Unfortunately, I get a lot of the scary "vomit beer" from Crooked Stave in this one. Lots of stomach acid, isobutyric acid, isovalaric acid, parm cheese, etc. I also get some aged hops, Belgian yeast phenols, and the like. Overripe fruit tries to push though more in the taste which is pretty nice, but really is overwhelmed by the flavors of a day old binge on shitty adjunct lager. I see what this beer is striving to be, and am trying to enjoy it for that, but it really doesn’t do it for me. No real saision spice, etc. to speak of. Oh well.

Bomber. Poured ever-so-slightly hazy light golden with a short white head. The aroma was bright with fruity Brett, some funky notes, and a hint of cherry leading.. oak and subtle Chardonnay notes around.. lemon zest and a little peppery warmth right on the back of the nose.. engaging and well-balanced. The flavor found soft bready notes at the core, with tart lemon zest, funky fruit (more apricot than anything else), dry oak, and vinous notes around.. finished tart, but not overly-so, with a lot of the barrel plus some white spices and floral notes. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. good feel and flow.. very good brew!

Deuce to pint glass (from notes). Looks good; murky-orange and carbonated. Smells good too; tart and fruity with Belgian undertones. Tastes just like it looks; a refreshing delight. Mouthfeel is good too. Overall, a good beer, especially for the style and price tag.

Bomber tnx to adnielsen. Pours hazy pale amber with a good diminishing off white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is very pleasant malty sweet funky sour very fruity apricots stable damp cellar. Flavor s as good as aroma, lean round aleish with nice fruity malty and sweet touch mixed with almost saison like spicyness, sour funky medium bitter towards the end pungent stingly on tounge with sustained flavor spectra. Damn good beer, damn good trade.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer hits a really interesting middle ground between a wild ale and a saison. Beautiful hazy, golden, yellow color with suspended floating sediments. Bright, funky, yeast, green apple aromas. The yeast sourness is softened by a buttery richness that even has some tropical fruit flavors. Refreshing like a late spring zephyr.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle as a bonus in the growler swap courtesy of gription. Thanks Dallas! Pours a hazed gold with a medium to large creamy white head. Acid and funk hit the nose from a distance, backed with bright pear and tart apple. A touch cheesy, sweet wheat and yeast. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, light sweetness. A hint of funk and then a whole mouthful of brett. Big and bold, lots of brett and green apple acid. Bready and warm, a touch of warming alcohol into large phenolic yeast notes, estery and warm. More earthy brett. Warming alcohol again on the finish, light sweetness, more chewy fruit and big fat yeast. Easy drinking, playful and interesting. Quite enjoyed this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle shared by John. The pour is hazed gold, with a smallish off white head. The aroma is soft lemon, along with a lot of the yeast. Barnyard, dirt and sweat. The taste is some malt up front, followed by sharpness of the lemon, then opens up to the Brett yeast - barnyard, hay, floral. The flavor had less of the dirt and sweat of the nose, fortunately. The palate is lighter to medium bodied, active carbonation and a clean dry finish. Nice, thanks for sharing John.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a good bit of brett in it, as well as some lacto notes, which are complimented by the wheat and lemon characteristics. The flavor has quite a bit of brett and leathery funk it in, with some wheat and a little bit of green pepper and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very odd beer, but one I found pretty enjoyable.
