Medium gold, light haze, persistent white head. Nose is biscuity malt, light spice, bright lemon, Brett earthiness. Grainy, cracker-like malt, spicy saison yeast character, lemony citrus notes, musty Brett character. Medium body, lightly warming. Very nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium foamy white head. Aroma has notable brett...nice and funky....hint of peach. Flavor has nice spicy saison notes with nice funk and barnyard flavors...mild tart and a bit of white wine notes. Mouthfeel is light/medium and lively with a dry, white wine finish that has mild funk...tasty!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Beer Savant for sharing a bottle. Cloudy amber-gold pour with a medium with a thin and fizzy white head that evaporates steadily. Short stringy lacing on the glass. Citrus and funk in those nose plus some sweet malt. Medium body with a somewhat funky and vinous character and notes of sweet malt, yeast and citrus. The finish is tart and fruity. Pretty good overall.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber Release #1, pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a small quikly receding white head. Aroma of white wine, hay, brett funk, and tart apples. Taste starts out with brett funk, oak, and sour apples transitioning nicely into sasion yeast, flavors drops off and finishes like a dry white wine with no taste. Disappointed with the finish but overall not bad.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber shared by atom. Slightly hazy, straw yellow in color, and a small white head which quickly fades. Lots of tiny bubbles continue to rise to the surface well after the initial pour. Some green apple and green grapes appear in the aroma. Itís slightly tart too. Pretty weak to be honest. The aroma is pretty light and has very little going on. The apple and grape characters are pretty muddled and not very distinct from one another. Fruity flavor with the brett being nice and evident. Some tropical fruit, pineapple, yeasty, some nutmeg and other spices. Somewhat similar to the sour apple saison, but with much less of that annoying cinnamon spice. Dry finish, with plenty of pineapple and grape. Flavor is pretty nice. This is a pretty standard wild. Probably something I donít need to revisit.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ home. Hazy/cloudy, yellow/golden appearance with a fizzy white head that has moderate retention. Guava, pineapple, lemon citrusy, bretty, vinous, effervescent, Belgian yeasty aroma thatís excellent. Tangy, fairly tart, pineapple/mango/guava citrusy, a touch bready, Belgian yeasty flavor with a light vinous, dry, citrusy, a touch boozy finish. Excellent pineapple/guava flavor and finish. This baby is a winner...great brew! I need to pick up a few bottles of these and stick them in the cellar with the rest of the Crooked Stave shit.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, Release 1. Murky golden with medium sized white sudsy head that fades leaving a solid ring of white lace. Nose is big and bretty. Some pineapple, lemon, dirty socks, granny smith apple. Flavor is a bit messy, lots of white wine character, brett is conflicting and base beer is completely lost. Very white grapey way too much barrel character. Tastes like a golden ale MIXED with a dry white wine. A bit much for me. The nose showed promise, but for me this beer doesnít make the cut. At least fresh.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Release #1. Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a slight white head that collars around the glass. Nice lacing as the head settles. Citrus lemon in the nose along with an underlying caramel note with apple. Medium mouthfeel. Floral and fruity upfront with a lingering funky note, flirting with a medicinal flavor at the very end. Alcohol shows slightly. Overall, pretty tasty.
