Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

Rated on 11-16-2015 (Can-Belmont Beverage, Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, IN) The appearance of this IPA is a medium sized frothy white head that has a lengthy retention, very hazy golden body, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, grapefruit, sweet, fruity, earthy, and hints of spice. This beer’s flavor is lightly bitter, citrus hops, fruity, spice, earthy, and it has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light bodied. This beer is very easy to drink as it is not overly bitter or hoppy tasting given the style.

Aroma of Mosiac hops (tropical fruits, passion fruit, pine), honey. Color is hazy pale golden yellow with a sense off white head. Flavor is pine, citrus, grass, a bit of papaya, toasted malts, nice finish, moderate pithy bitterness. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Really nice Mosaic IPA that?s easy to drink and very enjoyable.
