COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

I thought this was a very well rounded and sessionable IPA. Medium alcohol which is masked well by strong hop flavors.

12 oz can. Tasted on 9/6/14. Beer from Total Wine Plano, TX. The aroma has a floral & slight citrus & light pine. The taste is smooth with a good hop to malt balance that finished pretty dry with a slip hop bitterness on the finish. Overall a very nice IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Colorado Brewers Fest in July. Appearance: finger white head, straw yellow color, cloudy. Aroma: floral, perfume, pine, caramel. Palate: medium body, average carbonation, sticky texture, bitter dry finish. Taste: sweet caramel into a heavy bitterness. Overall, simple IPA, but very well done, super drinkable despite the IBUs.

Poured out of the can, it has a cloudy yellow color with a light white head. Aroma of grapefruit, floral. Taste of pine, grapefruit, citrus, a little sweetness. Medium carbonation, light body, crisp. Mild hop bite at the end makes it easy to drink.
