COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

Only drank this from a can, so I’d like a more in-depth re-rate of this. Aroma is pretty solidly grapefruit. Taste is the same grapefruit, with some light pine resin and lightly toasted malts. This one was solid overall. I liked it. Would buy again.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a very slightly hazy golden orange with foamy eggshell head that steadily dissipats into lacing. Smells of fruity hops with a bit of biscuit and a mildly bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less fruity. More like a light APA. Decent, but it smells significantly better than it tastes.

Gold with rimming offwhite head; aroma is hoppy hrapefruity Flava is light then bitter like citrus rind; feels light little fizz; finishes dry bitter with spicy hop notes

Thanks to errl for sharing this beer. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some pine and biscuit malt notes. The flavor is a mix of pine, orange peel, peaches and biscuit malt. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Draft at Fire on the Mountain. Clear gold. Nose of some pine and citrus hops. Pretty dry, lightly dank. Solid.

Cloudy orange pour from mikes. Foamy white head. Mild hops. Just ate a ghost pepper wing and can't taste my mouth so this rating shouldn't count. Peach i think. Tropical I think.

Pours a pale hazy gold with a thinner off-white head that settles to a wispy, large-bubbled ring and leaves some doily lace. Nose involves herbal, leafy notes with some biscuits and sourdough. Lightly sweet, quite bitter. Light body, oily, active, with a dry herbal finish. Understated brew, but definitely refreshing and drinkable.

I smell saltines (minus salt), pine and honey. Bright yellow with fluffy white head. Taste of fruit salad--peach, cherry, orange, sugar--and pine, flavors that don’t quite go together. Would be a good summer beer if not for the flavor clash and a slightly chewy texture.

12oz can pours with a clear gold body that supports a near white head. The modest aroma offers up floral and herbal and somewhat spicy hops and just a faint sense of maltiness. The taste starts with hop bitterness that is a blended mix of citrus, pine, floral and spicy hops. It then moves toward a malty note as the hoppiness gets more grapefruit like and bitter. There’s a good deal of hops going on here that are both smooth flavor and bitter resiny hops. After a few sips a mango hoppy notes gets in there somehow too. Pretty nice.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma of pine, oranges and Cheerios. Flavor of Cheerios, lightly toasted malt, pine and grapefruit.
