COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

12oz can poured into a Shaker at 41°. Color is a light hazy golden with light carbonation and a small tight white head. Aroma is strong pine and citrus. It has a lighter medium body that goes down with a crisp feel. Flavor is light fruits (apple and pear), pine and citrus backed by hop spice and bitterness. After taste is bitter with the hop spice lingering. Overall its a good brew, complex flavors and after a bit it feels easy to drink.

Draught at CBM. Bready malt, pine/citrus hops, bitter finish. Decent but probably not in good condition or past its prime.

12oz can from Xroads. Poured a clear gold body under a smaller white foamy head. Aroma/flavor of pine, grassy hops, honey topped bread, amber malts, citrus rind, limes. Medium body with softer carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste. Solid, thought this was a session IPA but at 6.2% obviously it’s not.

Very good and smoove IPA. Great taste that doesn't linger on the tongue. Lite fruity notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can from whole foods foggy bottom dc. Love everything about this beer, from the indigo blue and yellow can, to the name of the beer. We All want to escape to Colorado at some point, right. Pours slightly hazy earthy yellow nice hop aroma. At 6.2 ABV , it's a nice medium light hop refreshment. No can date (boo) but the beer is obviously fresh and delicious with an almost straight from the tap flavor. Wish I bought more than a 6er. Highly recommended ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smell comes across as muted citrus. The appearance is not too pleasing. Murky, dirty copper color. So far, not promising. Not a lot of hop bitterness at all, but a decent amount of citrus. The cost was pretty decent for the size of the bottle (approximately $2 less than other IPAs in similar bottles). I could see me drinking this on hot summer days. Nothing spectacular, but great for a summer day.

Very nice fruity aroma from the mosaic hops that they used. Nice golden yellow color and thin white head. Pick up the fruity notes and bitterness from the hops with the sweetness of the malts. Finishes evenly on the palate, good smooth mouthfeel.

Can with commonmac. Hazy gold with white head. Some citrus in the nose. Resin citrus, then some funky grain, then sweet and finally hop finish. Not super smooth. Just ok , but wouldn’t try to escape it.
