COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

Can pour light straw yellow with large white head that rapidly dissipates to small. Nose floral and lemon, light grass, light biscuit. Taste light bitter up front, then tropical fruit and lemon. Lighter bitter finish. Nice nose, drinks decent enough.

Smooth, bitter, with hints of grapefruit and a malty bready base. Not too strong. I nice and drinkable IPA.

On tap at Brunzies. Nice floral dank hop aroma with a bit of sweetness. Dull golden clear with thin head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts pretty dry with carbonic fizz and big bitterness, light hop flavor. Sweeter towards the finish with increased bitterness. Dry bitter after with lingering resin and ozone.

Can at home. Pours cloudy yellow with a large, frothy and foamy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy, fragrant floral, fruity and citrus hops with medium cracker malt. Flavor is moderate floral, fruity and citrus hops and bitterness, medium cracker malt, citrus pith and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

An ok IPA. Aroma was pretty weak. Lemon peel, end green leaf. Pour was a nice hazy medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was ok but very thin. Lemon peel is the main flavor with distant hints of light malt and water. Tastes like a session IPA. Good carbonation

Pours a light hold with light white head. A faint floral hop and pine aroma. A bitter grain and hop taste with some citrus and pine. A dry grain and very bitter aftertaste.

Good IPA on draft at brewery over summer. Lemon and pine forward. Medium body. Solid.

Can. Pours clear light gold with a medium white head. Aroma is bready, straw, soapy. Taste is bitter hops, citrus, metal. Not a bad beer but with so many other great IPAs out there I wouldn’t get this one again.
