Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

can - Pours golden with a one finger white head. It smells mainly of hops with an earthy character and a touch of citrus. The taste, as expected, focused on the hop bitterness. There’s resin and a hint of citrus. Pretty good.

Pours a light golden color with a thin head and lacing in the glass. Initial nose is of grapefruit and pine. Thin mouthfeel. Grapefruit with a bitter piney finish. Epic brews some great beers. This one is just average.

On tap at CBM awajicho. Fairly clear golden color with a hint of haze and a big soapy head. Not much aroma noticeable outside of a touch of grapefruit. Is this a lager?! Light bodied with a little bit of biscuit flavor but again, very mild. Epic makes some boring beers and this is a good example.

A light hoppy aroma and seemingly a light bodied aroma come from this slightly hazy golden yellow brew. The taste is sweet with some hop flavor followed by a biscuity and bitter aftertaste. It's a heavy-light bodied brew with the bitterness that offsets the sweetness through out the whole taste.

Nice fruity, and citrus hop aromas a plenty. Usual slightly hazy yellow body with a thin cap that leaves sporadic lace. The hops arent as aggressive in flavor as the aroma lead me to believe, still a nice hop bite with a decent malt backbone. Overall not an upper tier IPA but it is solid.

Can at home. Decent IPA but going to have to start being more selective when someone tells me unequivocally this is "the best beer they have ever tried". Pours a hazy dirty golden with a decent white head. Citrusy (mostly grapefruit) and slightly spicy. Crisp. Fairly light on the palate and somewhat neutral finish- not too bitter. Almost like a session in body and flavor. OK.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy copperish color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is light and slightly fruity, though it does not come across strongly. Taste is moderately bitter and clean on the palate, though it feels heavier than it should for the style and ABV. OK, but nothing great.

Can. Poured hazy light amber with a foamy white head. Citrus aroma which carried through with a little pepper to taste. Slight carbonation which makes it a nice crisp beer.. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a soft and bright lemon rind yellow with two fingers of tight off white head. Nose shows some woody hop notes and sweet citrus rind. Grassy notes and a subtle spicy quality with other nice hoppy notes. Falls on the light side for an IPA in the flavor. Grassy and subtle woody/resinous notes in the flavor with a spicy bitterness and oily finish. Medium light bodied.
