3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a celebratory ale produced to mark the 30th anniversary of flying nun records. This is perfectly good beer. This pours a golden cloudy colour. I stumbled across this whilst I was in Wellington. This came in a 500ml bottle.
Nice hoppy taste.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden in colour with a fulsome white head that sinks slowly into the glass. Quite overt hoppy mandarin peel aromas with a lick of chlorophyl to it. Most pleasant. Cool and fresh and then a surge of carbonation than brings a rush of green lime tang and avocado (yes, bloody avocado) and green herbs. Got green all over it this one, but that isn’t to suggest for a moment that it isn’t ready for consumption, this is most consumable, believe me. It is a good quaffer with a long finish and a real hoppy bite to it. Perfect for a sunny afternoon, a few tunes and an eyeful of skantily clad groupies.
