3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Dark brown pour with a thin, creamy brown head. Light aroma is dry and roasty with bits of bittersweet cocoa. Roasty overtones dominate the flavor, but there is not much else going on. A little bittersweetness in the tail. A little metallic twang that goes away once it warms a bit. Ok, but nothing noteworthy.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Pours a dark brownish color with a nice big head. The nose is roasty with a decent coffee note and plenty of caramel. The flavor is balanced and chewy, more caramel and mellanoidins with balanced earthy hops and some underlying hops. The finish is nice and balanced but its still not as roasty as Id like to see.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cola color with a white head. Fairly one note and that is bitter coffee. Almost to the point of grounds. Aroma has a slight medicinal note along with the coffee.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle. Pours a clear brown body with a frothy beige head that has excellent retention. Lots of lacing. The nose is spot on, lots of chocolate malt, some light nutty notes, light roast, some light hops. The flavor is much the same, heavy emphasis on the chocolate malt and a very restrained roasted malt presence. Slightly husky and nutty but in a pleasant way, I like that they kept the roastiness down. Too many Porters really walk the line between Porter and Stout, but this is clearly a true Brown Porter. Nice light hoppiness on the finish keeps it from getting sweet. Lighter bodied with a nice smooth texture and soft fizzy carbonation. This is really really easy drinking. This bomber will go fast. I think this would be a regular drinker if it were available in my area.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of douglas88. Pours deep mahogany with thin copper edges and tall tan head. The aroma is musty dark roasted malts, a touch of chocolate and a bit of burnt malts. The taste is smooth with a brief pulse of caramel malts quickly moving into dark roasted malts and a thin ribbon of burnt malts. After a few ounces a touch of smoke comes to the surface adding to the experience.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at The Beerhive, Salt Lake City, UT. Dark brown, rich firm head. Mild coffee aroma. Mid sweet with soft, well defined maltiness. Coffee and mild caramel, mildly hopped. The rather subtle flavours in this porter can blossom, thanks to the excellently well crafted malt profile, where the gentle softness allows full access to the slightest whisper of flavour.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
nice dark porter color with a creamy tan head.
rubbery roasty aroma mixes with some acidity, toasted nuts, caramel, chocolate, pine and grass.
the flavor matches the aroma... rubber note turns ashy on the finish.
crisp easy drinking texture despite an amateurish nature.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Poured clear, deeper garnet-tinted brown with a short cap of khaki head. The aroma picked up sweet milk chocolate and molasses notes, backed by vanilla, chocolate, and lesser coffee.. lactose sourness cut through it well.. still a hair too sweet. The flavor found more of the tart lactose throughout.. caramel and molasses sweetness supported, with lesser vanilla.. lots of grainy residual sugars on the finish (mostly vanilla and molasses).. odd clash between the residual sugars and milky sourness on the finish. Medium-bodied with just an OK flow across the palate.. not a great one, but Id probably drink it again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ Beerfest Asia Singapore. Black with lasting beige head. Mellow carob aroma is pleasant with some spice, maybe nutmeg. Fresh and lively mouthfeel, tastes alive. Sessionable. Lots of roasted dark malts. Toasted husk character. Solid with a distinct Americanness. Yum, very tasty, total buddy in a bottle.
