22 oz bottle, $3.99 World Market Columbus. Clear black pour; giant rocky eggshell head becomes a large ring and can be somewhat revived with swirling; very heavy alcing. Aroma is weak; "black," nutty, roast, ash, dark chocolate, yet not much coffee. Flavor also weak; nut, roast, ash; dry finish. Velvety carbonation but a little on the thin side. Pretty lame porter.

Bottle from the brewery watching the National Championship game. Dark brown color with a medium khaki head. Big coffee and a little chocolate in the aroma. Nice flavor of dark malt with a little coffee bitterness in the finish. Nice porter.

22 oz bottle at home. Pours a dark cola brown color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, chocolate, hints of coffee, char, thin and watery for the style, not one of their best.

Bottle. Coffee, milk chocolate malt and straw aroma. Black with small head. Sweet milk chocolate, light malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Watery body. Okay but not much there.

Bottle: Deep brown with a thick, dark tan head. Roasty coffee, chocolate scent. Slightly lactic, caramel/coffee/chocolate malts....and a coffee-ground bitter finish in the taste... Light.....Not bad.

Black pour with a thin sticky light beige head. Lovely roasty nose with a touch of cocoa and toasty black malt. Smooth roasty semisweet flavor with a touch of cocoa and smooth roasty malt tones. Very Porter. Very tasty. Classic.

Bomber scored at Gracie’s in SLC. Knows presents with roasted coffee, the medium body flows into the glass a nut brown liquid capped with a thick khaki head. Coffee on the nose attended by a very light hop, coffee and roasted malt in the flavor. Dry mouthfeel with a bit less watered down experience than most Utah beers. Outside of the Elephino, one of the better brews of the evening, but outside of Utah, wouldn’t buy it again.

Bomber from the brewery. Pours a very dark color with ruby tints and a long lasting khaki head. Lacing is dense. It’s a really good looking beer. The aroma is solid, no complaints here. There are notes of cacao, coffee, leather, and a perfect amount of sweetness. The palate is reasonably full with medium carbonation. This is a tasty, malt-heavy, straightforward porter. Very clean roasty notes of coffee are in the flavor as well with a bittersweet dark chocolate finish. Slight woody bitterness comes through here and there. Quite solid.
