COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This wonderful hoppy lager is a new addition to our ever-expanding Exponential (Seasonal) Series. The Crystal hops give it a clean spice while the Calypso hops give it a pleasant, almost fruity aroma. Easy to drink, perfect for a summer day out.

Growler fill from Aw Shucks. Pours a lightly hazy yellow orange, decent head. Aroma was honey accented malts, slight pepper hops, and a lot of undefined citric hops. Flavor was a dead on match. I must be getting old, because the entire time I drank this I was mentally shaking my walking stick at the brewery and castigating them for the citric hops in my lager. What is happening to me, this was something I always wanted brewers to mess around with? Get off my lawn! Either way, my palate could never totally accept the fusion of citric hops and lager characteristics. The sum was less than the parts. More disappointed with myself than the beer for some reason.

Sampled from a 12 oz. can, this beer had a clear pale yellow-gold pour with particles floating in the glass, and gave a white one finger cover that receded to a very thin cover and ring, it left nice spots and partial rings of lacing on the sides of the glass, the nose had some grass and citrus hops with light malt, a little bread and some sweetness, the flavors were grass and citrus hops with light malt and some grain, some citrus and a touch of malt sweetness, the finish had a light bitterness with a little malt following, the mouth feel was pretty light, it had a little bit of a creamy feel on the lips and soft to average carbonation, it had a light to medium hops and light malt on the nose and mouth, not a stand out beer, it was ok.

Sample at the tap room in Denver. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
