On tap. Pours with a clear, clean straw yellow hued body with a lasting and lace leaving white head. Aromas are hoppy, malty and clean. Bready, biscuity, nice base malt character. Hops are somewhat generic in their spicy and fruity notes. Flavors are grassy, bready, malty, clean. Light melon and fruit from the hops. Lively carbonation, soft but noticeable bitterness. Clean.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 KyotoLefty (4736) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 25, 2012
Gravity at Bailey’s Taproom. Cloudy glowing yellow with bubbles. Big hoppy nose, noble basically, plus some doughy wort. Flavor is green hops, hay, and bready, doughy malt. Very bitter finish. I won’t know if this is a worty flavor coming from a yeast problem, or something with the hop residues, but it gets a bit hard to drink. Strange.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RABinVA (692) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Pours a bright yellow hay with a big thick, persistent head. Solid refreshing beer both in that it’s a new taste and crisp and light. The hoppiness of a pale ale with the sweet malt of a lager to balance things out. For the right price this is a great staple beer.
