This beer poors a light amber color with a nice off white head. The aroma of citrus and melon is fruit forward. The flavor followed up and sustained with minimal bitterness. I think this is a real good DIPA!

500ml brown bottle. Pours golden, clear. Small white cap that sits low, lacing is slight. Big nose, fruity hops - a tropical mix, some melon, citrus peel, slight berry note. Taste has upfront tropical fruit hops and some resiny pine, malts are well in the background. Finish is grapefruity, grassy, tangy, juicy. Bitterness is a bit lighter and more delicate than I was expecting but it seems to work. Well carbonated, body is medium, drinkability is very high, no sings of that 8.5% abv. Would be happy to drink again.

HopRedHead (149) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 5, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Sweet floral nose with hints of passionfruit. Also detecting a slight honey/malt flavour. Flavour is sweet with a malty balance and nice bitter finish. Great double IPA.

Pours a clear light amber with a small head. What’s odd is that its constantly bubbling, fizzy as champagne, but without head retention. The aroma is unbelievably delicious, lots of fruity hops, grape, strawberry, citrus. I suspect a healthy dose of Nelson Sauvin. Flavor has the fruity hops up front, with a bit of sweet caramel malt and finishes bitter. Mouthfeel is fizzy and a bit thin. Overall, does what it says on the tin.

Pours a clear golden-amber colour with a small white spotty head with some small legs. Aromas of sweet malts, fruity and citrus hops. Flavours consist of citrus grapefruit, sweet malts, hop flavour is quite complex and well balanced including some grassy notes

Pours a clear orangish gold with some fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a huge citrus hop Bomb with hints of grapefruits and sweet malts. Taste is grapefruit, citrus and grassy hops up front balanced by a nice sweet balanced malt profile and nice crisp bitterness that lingers for a bit but not too long.

Oooo man. Light amber, small bubbly head that rings. Holy shit what a savage first 10 minutes put out by the Oilers vs the Stars. Malty biscuit, apricot, Rrgf, pineapple juice, maybe some caramel. The aroma dropped off big time but I still like. Slight flowery tropical note. Good taste - it’s got power but power that is under control. Huge hops balanced well with the same malts I found in the aroma. The grapefruit is in the twilight Zone between ruby red and unsweetened, perfume, Nelson memories, tropical, citrus goodness, last sip shows some spice. I dig. I think Armageddon was better, different beers.

Aroma is grapefruit and the more citrusy stonefruits. Taste is hops with a short bite. Fruitiness is slightly subdued in the aged bottle I partook in. Still freaking refreshing and delicious though. Finishes cleanly without resin. Love this beer, but hoping to get my hands on a fresher bottle.
