3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Robustly priced bottle; gusher. Pour is hazy, light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is light caramel malt and muted resinous hop. Pretty straight forward. Flavor is musty caramel malt with dull resinous hops. This was new in the store, but who knows how long it was at the distributor. Every time I drink imported IPA, I swear I won’t do it again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12/26/13. 500mL (ish) bottle bought by heykevin at Crust in Betterndorf and shared with the crew at the QC tasting. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. Nice aroma, dank, resin, citrus, and tropical fruits. Slightly disappointing flavor, hop seems to have faded a bit - hints of citrus and tropical aspects, but leaning towards earthy and floral. Would be awesome fresher, I’m sure.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very well balanced DIPA... epic aroma, very fruity. Very pale appearance, looks quite thin. Nice malty sweetness, tropical fruit hop flavours, passionfruit / lychee? Overall a really good DIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by heykevin, thanks man! Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head, the aroma was pretty dank with tons of hop resin and citrus too, I am starting to really like the New Zealand hops, flavor has lots of citrus on the front end with a nice balance of the malt in the finish, nice mouthfeel, good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a dark amber color with a medium sized creamy off white head. The aroma and flavor have herbal, floral, earthy and resiny hops. Toasted bread and caramel malt. Big fresh flavors and aromas. How can we get fresh IPA/DIPA from New Zealand and other well known European breweries have trouble puling that off?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured clear bright copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Heavy complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Heavy complex bitter flavor with a medium to heavy smooth bitter finish of moderate to long duration. A solid bitter beer.

Rating #785 - Nov 26, 2013 - 650ml bottle from Sherbrooke, 8.5%. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit hops predominant. Taste is extremely hop bitterness tempered with a pleasant citrusy sweetness that disguises the higher abv quite well. Exquisite.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
A buzz of mixed citrus with a bitter hop aftertaste. Decent 2cm head with orange amber colour. Would be my pick as New Zealand’s best and a strong rival with the best from USA and Europe.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2013. Grassy and hoppy smell with a hint of dill. Similar taste, hoppy with a nice bitterness but quite short.
