Keg at CASC. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is big, juicy, sweet, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, tangerine and light fennel/aniseed. The taste is bitter-sweet, juicy, light caramel, orange, tangerine, mango, caramel, light alcohol, pine and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Great aroma and decent taste. Solid stuff.

Keg from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a medium white head that slowly fades. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Gorgeous aroma of mandarin, caramel and pineapple. Flavour of pine needles, grapefruit, mango and kiwi fruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Wonderful.

Tasted on tap at Fine Wine Delivery Co. Crisp golden colour with a lovely amount of head. Lively aroma of citrus and passion fruit hits the nose without being overpowering. One of the most aromatic beers. The first sip is scintillating, arousing all senses as it dances over the taste buds. Perfectly balanced with a clean finish, the 8.5% is easily drinkable enticing the next mouthful, need to be careful when drinking by the litre. One of my all time favourite beers which continues to impress year after year.

Bought from Fine Wine Delivery Company fresh on tap. Pours a slight orange-golden colour, with flavours of passionfruit and citrus, finishing off surprisingly clean. Dangerously drinkable at 8.5% ABV

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2016 Massive aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and pine and even more power on the tongue. There are so many tastes that build on each other and cause your eyebrows to raise. Citrus, mango, pineapple, grass, leather... I can’t even begin to list them

500ml bottle from New World Saint Martins, Christchurch. Pours clear amber, very beautiful. Strong grassy nose, foreshadowing what will come once you take a sip: A fruity, citric, complex combination of hops, well balanced and interesting even towards end.
