UPDATED: AUG 28, 2013 Aroma is grapefruit and the more citrusy stonefruits. Taste is hops with a short bite. Fruitiness is slightly subdued in the aged bottle I partook in. Still freaking refreshing and delicious though. Finishes cleanly without resin. Love this beer, but hoping to get my hands on a fresher bottle.

UXO (112) - CANADA - JUL 1, 2014
Pours a clear orange gold with a loose, soapy two finger white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim around the edge, no lacing. Nose is strongly hoppy, resiny pine and grapefruit, herbal and floral, but with noticeable malt in the background. Taste is emphatically hoppy, with pine resin dominating a little citrus and caramel malt. Medium to light body and slippery, with low carbonation and a long, lingering bitter finish with mild warming. A bit of a palate wrecker, but still possessing a noticeable malt backbone. Definitely a little rough around the edges, but thats part of its charm.

Bottle at Zombie Burger DSM. Pours clear dark gold with a thick pearly off white head. Aroma of sweet hops. Flavour is a bit dark fruits and flowery HOPS. Body is nicely thin for a DIPA. Finish is smoothly bitter, not thick or sweet. Great.

Good tropical scent. Well hopped, fruity taste. Heavy bitterness in the aftertaste that fills the mouth well. Almost think it was too much bitterness in this beer. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Good clear golden colour, large passion fruit on the nose and flavour with a crisp slightly sweet finish

Deep orange colour with a creamy white head that does nothing to quell the aroma. Lychee, pine resin, grapefruit, moss, everything, the nose is overwhelmed with aromatics. A smidgen of sweetness and then bam! The main event, bitter, bitter, bitter. Interesting palate, medium body and carbonation, resinous, almost gummy the way it coats the mouth. Very long finish!

On tap at Brewski 050314. This one is a bit of a palate wrecker as it coats the tongue with big hop resins.

elbernays (392) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 30, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2014 500ml bottle from drinkstore. Pours cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is so strong. I cannot imagine what this stuff smells like when it comes out of a vat. Grass, lemon, herbs- basil, citrus, some flowers. Powerful. Flavour is fisherman?s friend. There is mint floral astringent bitterness. Malts are fighting but only hints behind the hop power. Unbalanced but in an interesting way. Low carbonation. Enjoyable but not sure Im too enthusiastic about overly hopped beers.

500 ml bottle. Pours an orange and clear with an inch off off-white head. The aroma offers dank hops, citrus, resin. It smells slightly oxidized. Flavor is hop forward and citrusy. Small amount of alcohol heat in the finish. Id love to try this fresh.

500mL bottle. Pours a hazy golden straw with a creamy white cap that lingers decently. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus and rind, pine, caramel. Taste is citrus sweet and bitter. Medium carbonation, sticky and creamy mouthfeel. Good balance.
