Aroma: Boom! an immediate and sustained hit of sensational strong hop aromas - tropical fruit, pine resin, and a hint of lemon blossom, light caramel, grass and straw aromas sneak in but only just. Appearance: crystal clear rich deep golden hue, white frothy diminishing head, lacing that leaves fading pictures of zombies. Taste: the aroma taste and palate all blend together well, sweet with a long bitter finish. Palate: medium body, complex texture, light carbonation. Overall: a hop junkies humongous hop fix, a first class heavenly hop fuelled sensory extravaganza. Great stuff

Bottle shared, thanks. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, lightly fruity, then more hops and light resinous hops, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Nice.

Zlotta (2154) - Hagen, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2016
Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Borefts 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and a little grassy aroma of peach, passion fruit and mango. Sweetish, fruity and slightly grassy taste of caramel, honey, mango, passion fruit and peach, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite dry finish. Medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite nice!

I have to say this is by far one of the best IPA I’ve ever tried. Clear golden pour with white head, aroma is fruity. Bitterness doesn’t last long.

8.5%ABV. Imperial IPA. Poured out Amber. 10ºSRM. Nose has tons of citrus, spice and fresh pine. May even be a little resinous tail on this thing that is just very very pleasant. Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate is well provisioned grain bill with thick sweet malty flavors suggesting honeyed Graham cracker toast, honeyed wheat toast and marmalade, especially with the nice tang of citrus, lemon to or orange peel coming quite nicely in the middle to tail end of all that sweet. Hops are spicy, bitter, minty and hyssop like. Finish is medium long with bitter and herbaceous flavors predominating. Very very good overall and a very pleasurable ride. Goes on Favorites List !

[8268-20160515] 330mL bottle. Mild fruity aroma has a green leafy floral note. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter orange citrus wood flavour. Medium body is quite bitter. Tasty. (8/3/8/4/16) 3.9
