COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT!

Bottle from Total Wine Summerlin. Hazy yellow pour with some yeasties. Aroma of citrus hops, slightly floral, quite fruity, with some spices and a hint of sweaty socks. Flavor is quite bitter, spicy and fruity. Some nectarine and plum in the body. Thick and a bit rough but quite nice.

Nitro tap at Bearded Lady. Pours a clear light orange color with a creamy, foamy head. Aroma is fresh hops, drippy resin, sap, pine needles and more hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly hopped, some citrus grapefruit notes but also has some dusty elements. Creamy from the nitro. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber purchased at the Escondido BevMo ($6.39). Pours a hazy sunset-orange hue with two fingers of off-white foam. AROMA of caramel, pine/spruce, wet grains, and some mellowed-out citrus. FLAVOR of sweet-ish caramel malts, pine sap, dank citrus, with some noticeable booze. Malty-sweet but finishes with moderate bitterness and a bit more of the aforementioned alcohol. I may have let this sit too long before drinking as it is still hoppy but starting to get some barleywine-like notes as well. An okay malt-forward DIPA. (438, 896)

(On tap/nitro at Penn Commons) Very cloudy orange body with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of orange, pine hops--not very strong aroma. Flavor is resiny, pine, orange; moderate alcohol. Medium to thick body, velvety; creamy nitro head.

On tap at Beer Exchange. Pours an opaque orange with a thin, white head that laces. Aroma has smooth notes of orange citrus, resin, and pine. Taste is bitter. Big resin, citrus, and pine with a big resin finish. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Resiny texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a big, resiny IIPA.

Bomber: orange copper pour. Thick fast white head. Aroma is caramel malt, light buttery note, orange citrus and resinous and pithy. Flavour is resinous hop, butterscotch, pithy bitterness. Hint of alc sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber pours a cloudy orange with substantial and lasting white head which leaves good lacing. Aroma is full of tangerine, mango and resinous pine. Taste is bitter at start and finish, with just enough caramel sweetness in the middle. Alcohol is well hidden. Body is medium to full with a sticky mouthfeel and only slight carbonation. Exactly what I am looking for in an IIPA, but without any surprises. Well done, Epic!

Draft on nitro. Pours a cloudy dark orange color. Aroma and taste are bittersweet with citrus, pines, and malts. Bitter finish.
