Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT!

Rating #1579 - 21.03.2015 - On tap at Venice Ale House. Pours a rich golden, small white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is grapefruity, pine, pastry dough. On the palate, similar citrus and pine zest, mild resin, mild pastry dough malt. Medium bodied and extraordinarily balanced. My favourite american IPA so far, lots of malt complexity and a great balance of grapefruity, pine hop notes. Superb.

On tap at tap house pours out a clear crisp golden topped with a white head. nose is a nice citrus grassy cereal malts. Taste is more of the nice hop combo and a balanced malt bill.

650 ml bottle. Pours a bright amber with light foamy head. Aromas of pineapple, lemongrass, candied fruit and other tropicals. Taste follow same with additional sharp bitterness, ginger, and toffee. Really nice

Hazy orange with a thin white head; hoppy aroma with strong citrus. Taste confirms that, grapefruit, fruity with malts and hops, booze hidden, smooth and creamy. Lovely ale.

On tap at ABV Pub in Hillsboro, OR. This was served on nitro, which accounts for some of the smoothness of this beer. Amber pour with a white head. Citrus hops aroma and taste. Smooth nitro mouthfeel. I would love to evaluate this one again on CO2.

Tap at Yard House, Las Vegas, 8th November 15. This was off nitro, giving a creamy texture, which for an IPA I was no convinced. anyway the beer was reasonable, nice bitterness easy to drink

Rated on 10-30-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires (Fort Wayne, IN) This nitro beer is presented with a small beige head that has a long retention, hazy golden body and excellent lacing adorns the glass. The aroma is citrus, grapefruit and malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus, some grapefruit, and malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is very quaffable and smooth on the palate. I enjoyed this beer and would drink it again.

650ml brown bottle. Release #126 (if that means anything?) Gold with fine haze. White cap up to is fluffy, good patchy lace stuck in the glass. Aroma - pienapple, citrus and pine. Taste - some malt sweetless, pine, fruity undertones, some alcohol. Finishes bitter. Medium body and softer carbonation. Well done, but not super aggressive, drinks very easily.

Bottle purchased at Elevated in South Mpls (I think) and consumed in a Moeder Lambic branded snifter glass. Powerful bouquet on this one featuring a heavy dose of hops (expected) and a subtle caramel character (unexpected). Color is primarily orange with a quarter finger white head. Mouthfeel is pretty thick and oily reminiscent of other imperial IPAs. Taste has an aggressive amount of hops (almost like it’s trying to emulate Stone) and a good balance of malty sweetness. Overall I’m impressed. A nicely balanced IPA with a good alcohol presence and resiny mouthfeel. Worth a sample.
