3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 10-30-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires (Fort Wayne, IN) This nitro beer is presented with a small beige head that has a long retention, hazy golden body and excellent lacing adorns the glass. The aroma is citrus, grapefruit and malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus, some grapefruit, and malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is very quaffable and smooth on the palate. I enjoyed this beer and would drink it again.

650ml brown bottle. Release #126 (if that means anything?) Gold with fine haze. White cap up to is fluffy, good patchy lace stuck in the glass. Aroma - pienapple, citrus and pine. Taste - some malt sweetless, pine, fruity undertones, some alcohol. Finishes bitter. Medium body and softer carbonation. Well done, but not super aggressive, drinks very easily.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle purchased at Elevated in South Mpls (I think) and consumed in a Moeder Lambic branded snifter glass. Powerful bouquet on this one featuring a heavy dose of hops (expected) and a subtle caramel character (unexpected). Color is primarily orange with a quarter finger white head. Mouthfeel is pretty thick and oily reminiscent of other imperial IPAs. Taste has an aggressive amount of hops (almost like it’s trying to emulate Stone) and a good balance of malty sweetness. Overall I’m impressed. A nicely balanced IPA with a good alcohol presence and resiny mouthfeel. Worth a sample.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at Goodfriend (Dallas, TX). A beautiful, lightly translucent golden amber color with a thick white Pilsner-ish head that fades slowly with good lacing. Nose is resin, sweet candy and a little dank bitterness. Taste is light woody hops, some toasted sweet malt which hints at a lager-like quality. Light mouthfeel and very drinkable, not a trace of booziness. Really good.

With Z over a Mexican meal, pours a typical dark rusty orange pour with a beige ephemeral head. Nose is pine and resin. Taste is more pine and resin with hops and moderate bitterness. Finishes on the same tasting notes with a moderately long finish ! Quaff Score 7 / 10

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. A slightly hazy golden color with a foamy white head. A fruity hop aroma, a little too sweet, with a stiff malty and bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Recommended. Pours a hazy orange and gold in the body with a puffy inch of white head. Moderate lacing on the glass. The nose is pine and resin laden with heavy grainy malts, light caramel. Taste is grassy and green hop bitterness with a heavy grapefruit and moderate resin presence. Light earthy, grainy malt makes a show. Medium body with medium carbonation. An above average DIPA!
